How many mortgage payments is the 3090 gonna cost hot damn!

Speaking of pricing rumours...

[RUMOR] Mod from Baidu forums posted this.

He's saying:

- RTX 3080 at least 40% faster than RTX 2080 Ti
- RTX 3080 priced close to RTX 2080 Ti
- RTX 3090 around 12-14K Yuan or around $2000 US
- GA104 GPUs will be priced similar to TU104 GPUs

Also posted about 22 GB 352-bit bus

Yikes if true. But also note that Micron so far has no indication of 22GB of vram so if the rumour is true, it could be that there are multiple versions with different amounts of Vram.

This is what we get when AMD doesn't give a fuck for the high end GPU side of things. Nvidia are likely going to just charge high again and sit back comfortably.

Pretty much. Between that pricing rumour and DF saying consoles could cost more than $500 USD up to $700 USD. I feel like waiting until next year and seeing if the prices will come down loll

*Checks Eth that he bought a month ago for $320 and now it's $560*

Urghh. I get the feeling the mining craze is gonna happen again as well. 2020 really is a fuck you year.

Hence why I would wait for Big Navi either way before deciding what to buy. If it's competitive (as in at least beating the 3080), then it could force NVidia to drop their prices a notch or two.

I'm more interested in seeing what we will actually end up with pricing/specs wise on the 3070 because I already know for a fact the 3080/90 are going to be way out of budget.

There's no f*cking way the 3080 costs as much as the 2080Ti because that would destroy the market.

How much would the 3070 and 3060 cost, then? Will they keep the same mindset and price the 3060 like the 2070 Super, leaving the whole mid-to-low market for AMD? Or will they be priced reasonably, but leave an enormous price gap between the 3070 and the 3080?

Nope, I refuse to believe such nonsense.

Please excuse my bad English.

I feel like it'll be cheaper for me to just replace my 1080ti casing (since one of the bearings is gone and I cba getting tiny pieces for it and unscrewing everything) and wait till next year for better prices.

Jesus why did yours spike up in price?.

If it happens again, I really want to see a push from vendors to stop it from fucking consumers over again, because more mining crazes is how you kill consumer interest.

To be fair, it's more of a renaming than anything if the rumours are true.

Like right now, we are expecting the 3080 Ti to perform at least 40% faster than a 2080 Ti while being priced the same.

So if a 3080 performs 40% faster than a 2080Ti while costing the same, it essentially just means that instead of a 3080 Ti name, you get a 3080 in name while still getting the previously rumoured performance of a 3080 Ti if it's true. And if that happens, the rest will get a naming bump for their performance.

But yea, I sure hope it's a fake.
