Speaking of pricing rumours...

[RUMOR] Mod from Baidu forums posted this.

He's saying:

- RTX 3080 at least 40% faster than RTX 2080 Ti
- RTX 3080 priced close to RTX 2080 Ti
- RTX 3090 around 12-14K Yuan or around $2000 US
- GA104 GPUs will be priced similar to TU104 GPUs

Also posted about 22 GB 352-bit bus

Yikes if true. But also note that Micron so far has no indication of 22GB of vram so if the rumour is true, it could be that there are multiple versions with different amounts of Vram.

There's no f*cking way the 3080 costs as much as the 2080Ti because that would destroy the market.

How much would the 3070 and 3060 cost, then? Will they keep the same mindset and price the 3060 like the 2070 Super, leaving the whole mid-to-low market for AMD? Or will they be priced reasonably, but leave an enormous price gap between the 3070 and the 3080?

Nope, I refuse to believe such nonsense.

To be fair, it's more of a renaming than anything if the rumours are true.

Like right now, we are expecting the 3080 Ti to perform at least 40% faster than a 2080 Ti while being priced the same.

So if a 3080 performs 40% faster than a 2080Ti while costing the same, it essentially just means that instead of a 3080 Ti name, you get a 3080 in name while still getting the previously rumoured performance of a 3080 Ti if it's true. And if that happens, the rest will get a naming bump for their performance.

But yea, I sure hope it's a fake.
