For Hearthstone fans who have grown frustrated by facing endless board-spamming Paladins, next week may offer some relief. That's when The Witchwood's single-player Monster Hunt mode is set to go live, and to help get everyone ready lead mission designer Dave Kosak sat down at the fireside with mission designers Paul Nguyen and Giovanni Scarpati to talk about what players have to look forward to in the spooky showdown.
Cynical cemetery sim Graveyard Keeper gets grim in new trailer
https://www.pcgamer.com/cynical-cemetery-sim-graveyard-keeper-gets-grim-in-new-trailer/
Developer Lazy Bear Games pitched Graveyard Keeper as "the most inaccurate medieval cemetery management sim of the year" when they revealed the game last year. I'm not disputing that, but after seeing its intriguing new gameplay trailer, I'm leaning more toward Andy's description: Stardew Cemetery.

https://www.pcgamer.com/build-the-most-confusing-furniture-store-possible-in-assembly-required/
Assembly Required is a management sim that's all about engineering the dreaded feeling of emerging from a furniture store, wondering what day it is and absolutely despising the smell of leather. You play as the manager of a furniture store, and it's your job to create a maze of displays and merchandise that no customer can escape without losing some of their money, and any good mood they may have entered with.

Originally released as part of the first expansion, They Shall Not Pass, Rupture features poppy-covered fields bisected by a river, crossed by a medium-sized bridge that overlooks the middle of the map.
Netherlands Gaming Authority cracks down on loot boxes in some games
https://www.pcgamer.com/netherlands-gaming-authority-cracks-down-on-loot-boxes-in-some-games/
A recent study of loot boxes in 10 videogames by the Netherlands Gaming Authority has concluded that four of them are in violation of the country's gambling laws and must be changed. The regulatory body didn't reveal which games were included in the investigation, but warned that "enforcement action" will be taken against them if the loot boxes aren't modified to meet legal requirements by June 20.
PUBG 'Metal Rain' event has eight-player squads, flare guns and falling UAZs
https://www.pcgamer.com/pubg-metal-rain-event-has-eight-player-squads-flare-guns-and-falling-uazs/
This week's PUBG event, dubbed Metal Rain, takes us to Erangel, where eight-player squads (up to 12 squads in total) get to fight over flare guns hidden throughout the map's usual loot locations. And no, you won't be fighting with the flare guns, that would be silly. Instead, you'll use them to call down "heavily-armored UAZs". That's one in the picture above: they don't look like they'll blow up easily.
It looks like Fortnite could possibly launch in China next week
https://www.pcgamer.com/it-looks-like-fortnite-will-launch-in-china-next-week/
As Luke Winkie wrote earlier this week, Fortnite may dominate the battle royale scene in the west, but it's not on top of the world. And it won't be, so long as it has no presence in China.
But lo and behold, it looks like it may reach China sooner rather than later, if the fairly obvious "hints" contained in a new Fortnite Twitter missive are to go by.
>>To those of you that play the game: brace yourselves.
