Mansions of Madness is getting a proper videogame adaptation
https://www.pcgamer.com/mansions-of-madness-is-getting-a-proper-videogame-adaptation/
Lovecraftian dungeon crawl might not sound like a typical genre to you, but board game Mansions of Madness is an entertaining and spooky romp in the shoes of a short-lived cosmic horror protagonist. A videogame adaptation called Mansions of Madness: Mother’s Embrace was announced today, and this hybrid of the tabletop rules with digital twists is scheduled to release on Steam early next year. https://www.pcgamer.com/first-draft-of-wasteland-3-ready-next-month-still-on-track-for-2019-release/
For a game so ambitious, sprawling post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland 2 did well to keep a tight leash on its release date. InXile's Kickstarted sequel to the classic 1988 game Wasteland was delayed once—but only by a few weeks, and even then it was only to ensure that physical copies of the game were ready for backers. Wasteland 3 has raised even more money from crowdfunding, this time https://www.fig.co/campaigns/wasteland-3" target="_blank">through Fig, and will therefore have even more eyes tracking its progress. If the latest developer update is anything to go by then it's all coming along nicely, and a "first draft" of the game will be ready next month.

Dark Souls 3 cut content suggests Pontiff Sulyvahn was once the final boss

Lance McDonald is a Soulsborne sleuth. After several months uncovering cut content from From Software's PlayStation-exclusive Bloodborne, the indie dev-turned-hobbyist game engineer has now turned his creative hand to Dark Souls.
McDonald's latest discovery, revealed via a series of tweets, suggests Dark Souls 3 had players, at one stage in development, fighting Pontiff Sulyvahn and not Soul of Cinder in the game's final showdown. Moreover, the encounter was set in an unreleased version of Untended Graves, and not the Kiln of the First Flame.

https://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstone-got-its-fatigue-mechanic-thanks-to-jeff-kaplan/
Hearthstone director Ben Brode shed some light on a few Hearthstone mysteries in a new video from Ars Technica. The whole video is a good watch if you're interested in Hearthstone's history and DNA, but the best bit is right at the end, where Brode explains how Hearthstone got its fatigue mechanic, which deals escalating damage to players each time they draw cards after their deck is empty. As Brode explains, fatigue damage didn't always exist, and they only came up with it after Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan played Hearthstone for himself.

A new MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries trailer teases extended 'destructibility'
https://www.pcgamer.com/a-new-mechwarrior-5-mercenaries-trailer-teases-extended-destructibility/
As you would expect from a game about giant fighting robots in the 31st century, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is all about destruction. Witness, for instance, last month's trailer, which was ostensibly intended to show off the game's biomes but was really just a bunch of stuff blowing up. Today's teaser is much the same, but more exuberantly musical, and without the pretense of being about anything but explosions.

Because Muffled Warfare has taken it one step further: it's a multiplayer FPS where everyone is blind. Presumably the next game in this chain will come with an invisible monitor.

Likewise, the second iteration of Battle Royale's 50v50 Limited Time Mode is go—with "two teams, two buses, one Victory Royale"—as is a new questline for Save the World.

"New screenshot and teaser trailer revealed for Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass"
I think it is time to finally see Vulkan in action.

Anthem sure does look pretty.
I am not sure if the gameplay will match the visuals, or my tastes.
It is nice to see EA throw their weight behind a 30FPS Fostbite title.
Dice has pulled some pretty impressive visuals out of the consoles at 60FPS.
It is quite exciting to imagine what they can achieve when they relax that restriction.

I'll wait, thanks.
It isn't that big of an upgrade from the 1080Ti, and if we are going for real-time ray tracing, high compute will likely help tons.
Navi, (assuming a multi die solution) sounds quite promising to me.
