AMD has released the following image that can be considered a teaser for a new Ruby tech demo that has been under development for quite some time. This new Ruby tech demo is powered by CRYENGINE and takes advantage of TressFX tech. We’ve shared some images and videos from this Ruby tech demo in the past, so we are really curious whether AMD has managed to increase its IQ, and whether it will support Mantle. Enjoy the teaser below and stay tuned for more! Continue reading
Infinity Ward and Activision have released a new patch for Call of Duty: Ghosts. This update comes with a variety of fixes, however it does not optimize the PhysX Fur effects that were introduced via an earlier update. Not that we should hold our breath for such a thing, but it would be nice. Anyway, you can view the complete changelog below. Continue reading
Resident Evil 2 Reborn HD is a fan-made game that aims to recreate the second part of the Resident Evil series. The team behind it has recently released a new video that can be viewed below, so make sure to give it a go if you are fans of older RE titles. Resident Evil 2 Reborn HD will have two camera viewpoints: fixed camera (similar to the classic RE games) and 3rd person. There is no ETA yet, though Capcom may send the team a C&D letter. Let’s hope that the Japanese company won’t send one, because this HD remake of RE2 has potential. Enjoy! Continue reading
YouTube’s member ‘jaimswallace’ has posted an interested comparison between BeamNG’s tech demo and Next Car Game. As we can clearly see, BeamNG’s soft body physics are far better than Bugbear’s physics engine. This obviously does not mean that Next Car Game does not feature spectacularly amazing deformable cars. On the contrary. Still, it cannot come close to BeamNG’s engine. Do note that this is a comparison between the alpha versions of both games. Enjoy! Continue reading
You're probably a bit busy, I get it. Giant, evil marionettes to destory. Three-headed, island-spanning wurms to carve up into little pieces. It's a hard life being a hero in Guild Wars 2. You might even be a little bit tired. Do you feel like you need a nap? Sorry, it's not happening, you've got that cheeky Scarlet to hunt down and her dastardly Aetherblade pirates to put out of commission.
I've wanted to own a time machine ever since I was 8 years old and called my teacher "mum". I never got one and must still live with that shame. It haunts me to this very day. GOG.com is attempting to soften the blow of my awful childhood - and maybe yours - by allowing us to remember the better bits: 30 years of awesome PC gaming.
The DRM-free Time Machine sale kicked off today, and celebrates PC gaming from 1983 to today with individual sales where a purchase extends the sale time or can shorten it if you want to move onto the next item on the list faster.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number now has a release window, narrowing down the amount of time you have to wait before your next animal-head murder spree.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon director Dean Evans has been given the greenlight by Ubisoft to recruit two of his favourite colleagues and go for broke on a new project.
According to data manually harvested from Kickstarter’s front-end, just one in three video game projects have delivered the goods in a timely fashion.
