Portal, Portal 2, The Stanley Parable, The Beginner's Guide, Quake, Half-Life, System Shock Classic, System Shock: Enhanced Edition and System Shock 2.

The two portal games are fun.

Quake was my first FPS. I still remember how sick it made me, yet after some time I always came back for more

That Half Life, is it the first one?

Yes, it was the first one.

I downloaded a bunch of games yesterday. I checked out Hand of Fate 2. I have only heard good things and it's supposed to be better in all aspects than the first one. People say combat is the weakest point of the game but for me so far it seems to be the most engaging thing in the whole game. It's not very refined or interesting but the rest of the actual game just seems kind of lame.

You do nothing but read a bit, move across mildly interesting events and make some heavily RNG based decisions and pray for good luck. The fact that you can resolve most events with just combat and minimal drawback depending on your skill actually makes it even less interesting. I mean why make difficult decisions when you can just instantly go to the easy combat and get the best rewards? It feels like playing a tabletop DnD campaign with yourself and cheating yourself through.

I might even get myself a refund on this.
