Does it mean you'll stop playing Clicker Heroes?
You spend waaaaay too much time with that game

Dude, it's an idle game that runs 24/7. The actual time I spend with the game every day is about 2 minutes. I might stop soon though.

So, Steam lists you as playing it and it counts the hours you've spend with it even if you don't launch the game? That's wrong!

Please excuse my bad English.

It is launched. And I don't even want it to show up.

Maybe keep a bit of cache, depends how you design it.

But when you have faster storage and can make it all RAM, then you could try breaking walls and ideas from your classic computer.

Of course. But you do need to keep in mind that the laws of Physics still apply. Memory that is further away from the CPU will always have a latency deficit comapred to memory on the CPU.

True, increased distance takes longer at even high speeds.

BOWLING NIGHT STUFF PACK FOR THE SIMS 4 ARRIVES MARCH 29

The Sims 4's next pack, called 'Bowling Night Stuff,' will arrive on March 29, according to a post on the game's official site. You'll be able to build a custom bowling alley for your Sims to visit, and add new furniture, decorations, and neon lights. You can even throw in a bar so your Sims can get nice and loaded because, let's face it, drinking helps take your mind off the fact that you're wearing rented shoes a thousand pairs of feet have occupied before.

WATCH THE TEASER FOR LIFELESS MOON, THE 'SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR' TO LIFELESS PLANET
http://www.pcgamer.com/watch-the-teaser-for-lifeless-moon-the-spiritual-successor-to-lifeless-planet/
Lifeless Planet, a game about exploring a distant alien world that's dotted with some oddly familiar features, did not thrill me as much as I hoped I would. But I still very much like the idea of Lifeless Planet: A weird, pulpy story styled after the softcover sci-fi classics of the 1950s. And so I was happy to receive today's announcement of a follow-up called Lifeless Moon, which is now in the works at developer Stage 2 Interactive.

UBISOFT RESPONDS TO FOR HONOR MICROTRANSACTION CONTROVERSY
http://www.pcgamer.com/ubisoft-responds-to-for-honor-microtransaction-controversy/
For Honor attracted the wrong kind of attention last week when a reddit user did the math on the game's cosmetic microtransactions.
In theory, cosmetics don't give you an advantage: they're designed to make you look a little bit nicer. Also, according to For Honor game director Damien Kieken, speaking on the weekly 'Warrior's Den' livestream, you're not meant to want them all anyway.

http://www.pcgamer.com/all-walls-must-fall-is-a-gorgeous-tech-noir-tactics-game-that-imagines-the-cold-war-never-ended/
Inbetweengames is a group of Berlin-based ex-Yager devs whose debut project is All Walls Must Fall—a super-stylish "tech-noir" tactics game set in the year 2089 in a world where the Berlin Wall still stands and the Cold War never ended. Mixing time travel, futuristic dystopia, stealth and backs-to-the-wall rhythm-inspired combat, the game echoes everything from X-Com to Syndicate, Superhot to Braid, Crypt of the Necrodancer to any number of old-school isometric DOS games. It's early days yet, but it looks pretty fantastic.

ELITE DANGEROUS IS GETTING PAID-FOR COSMETIC SHIP NAMEPLATES
http://www.pcgamer.com/elite-dangerous-is-getting-paid-for-cosmetic-ship-nameplates/
While it seems the alien Thargoids who turned up in Elite Dangerous might be more hostile than first thought, it looks like you'll at least have the chance to look good before they lash out. That's because the space adventure sim will soon let you name your spaceship and buy cosmetic ship name plates.

>>That's kind of cheap, right? But not cheap as not expensive, it's rather cheap as miserable. At least to me. But of course, if people are fine buying hats...

Alright, i've received my benq XL2540. Strangely, the monitor has a nice gamma and better than Aoc, as for refresh rate is 240Hz it's smoother than 144Hz and apparently i can see them in slow time world when they move fast.

Anyway enough of gaming, let's try the real test refresh rate with infamous testufo site:

I added one more UFO count, total 4 UFO counts(240fps, 120fps, 60fps, 30fps), no background and speed 3840 pixels per second. Result is, they're all different, especially 240fps vs 120fps for those curiously want to hear/read my experience, so, guess what, the 240fps is much smoother or clearer than 120fps like almost no blurry.

As for monitor spec itself.... argh i'm too lazy to type, here. Oh yeah, the panel type is TN which is unfortunately for IPS/VA lovers. http://zowie.benq.com/en/product/monitor/xl/xl2540.html#specification

The monitor has no G-Sync/FreeSync which is also bummer, but i don't mind it since i don't see different, i always turn off vsync(Duh.. it's 240Hz and saves cost). And good thing it comes with cover screen to avoid dusty(thumbs up to benq) plus shields... uh.. it annoys me LOL.

So, in conclusion, uh i love it. xD

http://www.pcgamer.com/corsair-one-is-now-available-to-pre-order-starting-at-1800/

Hmm... Corsair makes pre-build PC.

@Quake: I don't recall hearing about IPS monitors capable of reaching 240Hz (I've only seen some up to 100Hz) and VA panels tend to stop at 144Hz, so it was a given that your new monitor would be TN.

In any case, I'm glad you like your new toy.

And now, some Ryzen 5 info!

TechSpot has made an article simulating what kind of gaming performance could the 1600X & 1500X offer. They've done it dissabling parts of an R7 1800X and  then compared them to three Intel processors (7700K, 7600K and 7350K) using several games and 3 Nvidia cards (1080Ti, 1070 and 1060). All Ryzen chips were overclocked to 4.0GHz and all Intel parts were also oveclocked to 4.8GHz.

Here are the results: http://www.techspot.com/review/1360-amd-ryzen-5-1600x-1500x-gaming/

Obviously, that doesn't tells us their real gaming performances... but we may know that a lot sooner than the official April 11th launch date because:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 already selling
http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/amd-ryzen-5-1600-already-selling.html
It seems that some consumers already have been able to order Ryzen 5 processors, interesting as these should not be available for another three weeks.

Of course, to skip the embargo date by this amount, well that's just steep alright. The photos have been posted on Reddit, the end-user who has his hands on that platform bought a Ryzen 5 1600 (six-cores enabled processor) and a MSI B350 Tomahawk motherboard.
