After the debacle with Skyrim SE which is still ongoing I'm starting to feel Bethesda should not be allowed near any of their own games, I fear for D2 owners because any patch they release could render the game unplayable for many like they did with the former.

I'm not sure what you're saying.  What does Skyrim have to do with a game developed by another developer?  Are you saying Bethesda was doing development work on Dishonored 2?  Is that a fact or a rumor?

They have shit quality control that keeps getting worse it's not hard to fathom, all of these games are under them regardless of who develops them as they're the publisher and IP owner and Skyrim SE highlights they do such a bad job at keeping an eye on things that they'll release a game breaking official patch.

Wasn't all that hyped for DH2, but seeing as how it's a hot mess on PC and the way it was designed just tells me to wait for a deep discount and months down the road when it's been properly fixed (if at all).

Well tbh Skyrim SE ran fine at launch (although technically it's a 5 year old game but still) they just for some unknown reason patched the problems into the game a week later with the patch.

Okay, you're saying the publisher is always to blame, not the actual studio that developed the game.  While I think that's incredibly simplistic, I thought you were implying in your other post that Bethesda Softworks actually had something to do with Dishonored development.  That's what I was asking.

It ran fine, but there were problems with the sound, which is what the patch tried to fix.

How they ended up causing the game to crash on all platforms just trying to replace audio is anyone's guess, I can't even imagine how PS4 and X1 players must feel now as they actually paid for the game while the majority of PC players got it for free.
