Oh yeah, about the new Macbook Pro with new Radeon Pro family. For you information, that's a new mobile workstation GPU.

I'm not so sure about that.

Sure, they may be called "Pro", but with such a lower number, I doubt they're nothing more than a regular 460 and an even lower specc'ed card.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Tell those Apple designers, they're trying to make Macbook Pro much thinner & better power efficiency than Macbook Air.

Here though. http://creators.radeon.com/radeon-pro/

It was AMD's tits did this.

Though the dark blue text on  on a black background is kinda remind me of The Legend of Zelda fan site back in 90s when i was 10 years old boy browsing with Netscape.

Ok. I checked the site and it's true that the Radeon Pro 460 is no RX 460. The desktop card has 2 less CUs, 16 vs 14, but it has a higher memory bandwidth and it runs at a higher frequency, allowing it to give 2.15 TFlops compared to the 1.86 TFlops of the Pro 460. And the other two models are even lower than that.

But I doubt any (serious) user that (really) needs to make use of a workstation GPU will choose a laptop to begin with, so... I don't really see the point of it.

As far as i know It's probably lack of performance this year, if only Radeon Pro 470 was arrived with more CUs, higher frequency & of course low TDP at least 45W for goddamn battery life & USB-Type C power adapter, then it would have been no problem, so, yeah, it's pretty dissapointing, this is just beginning.

The same happen for Microsoft Surface all-in-one pc, that features dated GPUs, GTX 900M series. I'm not sure why, i'm guessing they're waiting for refreshed Pascal next year for better performance & power effiency in the same time.

Again, overall.. Just skip those & wait "much" longer. lol >.<

I hope none of you, or people you know, have bought a GTX 1080 or 1070 from EVGA with the ACX cooler.

Nvidia GTX 1080 & 1070 EVGA Cards Reportedly Catching Fire & Dying Due To VRMs Overheating

http://wccftech.com/nvidia-gtx-1080-1070-evga-cards-dying/

A devastating issue plaguing Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 & GTX 1070 cards from EVGA causing them to burn out and die has been discovered. This came about after reports of EVGA ACX GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 cards suddenly going up in smoke started to pile up over the past week.

The issue affects EVGA’s entire range of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 cards equipped with the ACX cooler, all of which lack direct VRM cooling. This includes GTX 1080 & 1070 ACX, SC, FTW & FTW DT models. Essentially all dual fan models except the Classified.
