Guh.. the spec. Rumors plz!

Oh man, just saw a review of the RX 480 and I don't know what to think. On one hand it's a cheap card at just $319-379 AUD depending on if your getting the 4 or 8gb version, on the other hand it was benchmarking lower than a 970 which I wasn't expecting. Makes me wonder if I should just wait even longer and see what the 1060 can do.

Edit: Every review since has had it much closer to the 970 if not beating the 970, a lot closer to hitting that purchase button now.

Crowfall will be published in Europe by Travian Games, you know that browser MMO thingy. A bit strange marriage, anyway Travian will also cover Brasil, North Africa and Middle East.

    CU......or CF ?

Oh dear, reviews coming in...AMD really can't get their shit together.

Sure, 480 (4GB) costs $199, but FFS, it's a 14nm GPU that has about the same TDP and performance as nVidia's 28nm 970.

My guess is 1060 will butcher it.

Here's a list of RX 480 reviews, courtesy of videocardz:

AMD Radeon RX 480 Video Reviews:

I was expecting a bit more, something in between the 390X and the 980, not the 390 & 970, and I think that going with 32ROPs limits its performance at resolutions higher than 1080p.

It's a good and well priced card, but if you can, it's worth waiting for the launch of the GTX 1060, to see how it compares to this card.

GODUS DESIGNER IS NO LONGER WITH 22 CANS

http://www.pcgamer.com/godus-designer-is-no-longer-with-22-cans/

A couple of weeks ago, a message went up on the Godus forums alleging that designer Konrad Naszynski had been let go from 22 Cans—a few months ago, actually—and that work on the game had stalled. No official word about his departure had come out of the studio, but his forum profile listed him as “former” staff, giving weight to the rumor. And now CEO Simon Phillips has confirmed with Eurogamer that Naszynski is indeed out, although he said that work on the game continues.
