Here's the second part of the news:
MOJANG RELEASES A FREE STRATEGY GAME CALLED CROWN AND COUNCIL
http://www.pcgamer.com/mojang-strategy-game-crown-and-council/
Minecraft studio Mojang has, entirely without warning, released a brand-new game on Steam called Crown and Council. It's a “casual strategy game of geopolitical drama,” originally created for a game jam, with 75 included maps and a built-in generator that can create new ones on the fly, and it's entirely free.

MAGICKA: WIZARD WARS IS CLOSING IN JULY
http://www.pcgamer.com/magicka-wizard-wars-is-closing-in-july/
A little over a year after leaving Early Access on Steam, the free-to-play multiplayer MOBA Magicka: Wizard Wars is coming to a close. Publisher Paradox Interactive said it kept the lights on for as long as it could, but the game has been losing money for the past nine months and the time has come to pull the plug.
MASQUERADA: SONGS AND SHADOWS SEEKS A FINAL PUSH ON KICKSTARTER
http://www.pcgamer.com/masquerada-songs-and-shadows-seeks-a-final-push-on-kickstarter/
We first encountered Masquerada: Songs and Shadows, “an RPG about masks and magic,” in early 2015. It caught our attention with a bright, colorful isometric visual style, and its real-time-but-also-pausable combat, which we took a closer look at last August. It was originally slated for release this spring, but developer Witching Hour Studios is hoping that a Kickstarter campaign will enable it to spend a little extra time on the game, to “add the final touches."
OVERWATCH DIRECTOR SAYS BLIZZARD "FAILED HORRIFICALLY" ON CANCELED TITAN MMO

Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime was a bit vague when he spoke in 2014 about the studio's reasons for pulling the plug on the MMO Titan after seven years in development. “We didn't find the fun," he said at the time. "We didn't find the passion.” But in a recent interview with Gamespot, Overwatch Game Director Jeff Kaplan was a bit blunter about the state of the game when the axe finally fell.
"OBVIOUSLY THERE'S GOING TO BE ANOTHER BORDERLANDS," SAYS GEARBOX
http://www.pcgamer.com/obviously-theres-going-to-be-another-borderlands-says-gearbox/
Good, if entirely unshocking news: there's going to be another Borderlands. Gearbox CEO and president Randy Pitchford confirmed as much at the ongoing PAX East, stating in no uncertain terms that "it's no secret, obviously there's going to be another Borderlands".
COSSACKS 3 BETA SIGNUPS BEGIN
http://www.pcgamer.com/cossacks-3-beta-signups-begin/
In case you missed it, GSC Gameworld—developer of the STALKER series—is back from the grave. And no, they've not announced another STALKER game. They're making Cossacks 3 instead, a sequel/remake to their 2001 historical real-time strategy game, which they describe on their website as "a genuine RTS classic". Well, why not. Since Phil relayed the news last year, there have been a few new videos of the game uploaded, and I'll include a couple below—but how would you like to play it for yourself?
FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S: SISTER LOCATION TEASED
http://www.pcgamer.com/five-nights-at-freddys-sister-location-teased/
Five Nights at Freddy's 4 was supposed to be the final game in the animatronic horror series, except, of course, for that spin-off we'd all probably rather forget. Now there is to be another FNaF, seemingly titled Sister Location, as teased on creator Scott Cawthon's site.
CHRONICLE OF RUIN MASHES UP FIRE EMBLEM, FINAL FANTASY VI, FF TACTICS
http://www.pcgamer.com/chronicle-of-ruin-mashes-up-fire-emblem-final-fantasy-vi-ff-tactics/
Chronicle of Ruin (best of luck trying to remember the name) is a big, ambitious mash-up of Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy Tactics and Ogre Battle, or so says its Kickstarter page anyway. It's being made by one guy, and unlike most of the absurdly grand RPGs made by one guy, this one actually looks pretty good.

THE SNAKE MMO BIDS YOU KISS YOUR WORK DAY GOODBYE
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-snake-mmo-bids-you-kiss-your-work-day-goodbye/
Well I think we can call today a write-off what with the discovery of Slither, which is essentially Snake: The MMO. It runs in your browser, and if the IT department has already blocked it, consider finding yourself a new job. Or school. If you are the IT department, have some compassion.
