So, how's been the weekend? Have you played a lot? I'm here with another AMD/RTG rumor:

AMD’s Greenland/Vega 10 GPU to feature 4096 Stream Processors

http://videocardz.com/58665/amds-greenlandvega-10-gpu-to-feature-4096-stream-processors

Guys over at 3DCenter discovered a very interesting piece of information. According to Yu Zheng LikenIn profile, who is a research and development manager at AMD, company has been working on new flagship graphics processing unit also known as Greenland or Vega 10.

The profile reveals that Greenland is the leading project of Graphic IP v9.0. In other words, this is the new flagship GPU that will succeed the most powerful Fiji processor currently offered by AMD.

(...)

If Greenland indeed features 4096 Stream Processors, it would therefore be exactly the same as Fiji. The upgrade to 14nm FinFET architecture would surely improve power efficiency. However would it also boost the performance per stream processor? Well, according to official slides yes, as AMD promised Graphics Core Next 4.0 will improve shader efficiency.

Also don’t forget that Stream Processors are not the only major processing units in GPU. AMD could also adjust the number of Raster Engines to 128, that would surely improve performance.

What do you think? Do you believe it?

NEW ROCK BAND 4 REWARD TIER OFFERS ALL THE SONGS FOR $2,500

http://www.pcgamer.com/new-rock-band-4-reward-tier-offers-all-the-songs-for-2500/

One knock against the PC version of Rock Band 4 that's currently approaching the end of its crowdfunding campaign on Fig is that it's not compatible with Rock Band DLC—that is, songs—from other platforms. They're offered on a per-platform basis, so if you buy a track for the Xbox One version of the game, it's only good for that edition. Harmonix has thus added a new reward tier to the campaign that enables backers to purchase the entire Rock Band DLC library for use in the PC release in one fell swoop. It costs $2,500.

According to our friends at TechRadar, a source close to Rockstar says the developer was "serious" about making a GTA set in Tokyo, but pulled the plug after assessing the difficulty of moving the series outside the US. OVERWATCH'S WEEKLY BRAWL MODES DUG UP BY DATAMINERS

The Overwatch beta patch that came out a couple of days ago made some big changes to the game, including the addition of an intriguing new game mode called Weekly Brawls. One of the things I like most about Ark: Survival Evolved is the apparently complete lack of commitment to any kind of coherent narrative, or even theme. When it first began, it seemed like a “Land That Time Forgot” experience with rideable dinosaurs and assault rifles, but since then Studio Wildcard has added dragons, a Yeti, War Kangaroos, Raptor Claus, and even Mega-Beavers. Now Easter is coming, and that means it's time for—get ready for it—an “Eggcellent Adventure.”

Said updates are now here as part of the grandly titled Update 5, which also adds hot water boilers, hot water pipes and, yes, hot water to the prison management sim. No wonder your prisoners have been trying to flee this whole time: they've had to make do with tepid showers.

AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.3.2

http://www.techpowerup.com/221295/amd-releases-radeon-software-crimson-edition-16-3-2.html

AMD made its second release of Radeon Software Crimson Edition for March 2016, with version 16.3.2. The new drivers come with official support for the two popular VR headsets, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. It also adds support for the recently announced Radeon Pro Duo dual-GPU graphics card. The drivers improve CrossFire performance for "Hitman (2016)" in DirectX 11 mode, and "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture." It also fixes critical bugs related to the Radeon R9 Fury, which saw display corruption on system idle mode; and XCOM 2 stuttering.

Also, with this new drivers, AMD has launched a new feature called "Quick Response Queue" for VR owners but that could also be used to improve the performance of traditional games.

I was tremendously disappointed when The Chinese Room announced that Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, which came out last August, would be exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Say what you will about “walking simulators,” but I thought Dear Esther was a powerful piece of work, and I was looking forward to seeing what the studio could do with that success to build upon. But then a few months ago came hope: The game turned up in a SteamDB listing, and then a month after that, the entry was updated with banner art.

With the start of the game's third season this week, Killer Instinct will finally roll out on the Windows 10 store. The rebooted fighter has been an Xbox One staple since launch, and while apparently it's pretty good, the best thing about it is it's free. Call of Duty in space? Is this early April fool? :o

Another day, another rumor about the upcoming graphic cards. This time, it's Nvidia.

RUMOR: Alleged NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 and GeForce GTX 1070 Cooler Shroud Pictured – Revised NVTTM For Pascal

http://wccftech.com/nvidia-pascal-geforce-gtx-1080-gtx-1070-cooler-leak/#ixzz44NAvWIfY

The alleged pictures of NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce GTX 1080 and GeForce GTX 1070 have just appeared on the web. The pictures which show the cooler shrouds of two upcoming Pascal based cards shows that NVIDIA might be using a revised version of the NVTTM cooler on their upcoming graphics cards.

However, since there’s no confirmation by NVIDIA on either the cooler or the naming scheme of the upcoming Pascal cards, we have to take this information with a grain salt.

After what happened with the NX controller, I wouldn't be surprised if someone with access to a CNC machine (and there are plenty of modders out there that have) decided to make them for fun. So I'll take this pic with all the amount of salt possible.

Luckily, the GTC (GPU Tech Conference) will take place next week, from April 4-7, and it's believed that Nvidia will reveal it's GPUs in their April 5 conference, so it won't take long before we know if it's true or not.
