The news, part 2:

http://www.pcgamer.com/elite-dangerous-is-getting-a-william-shatner-voice-pack/
If you've ever thought to yourself that the one thing a deep-space exploration game like Elite: Dangerous needs is a ship's computer that sounds like William Shatner, then today is your lucky day. The upcoming Orion voice pack for the VoiceAttack voice recognition system contains more than 1300 phrases from the ship's onboard AI, all of them voiced by the man himself.

BATTLEFLEET GOTHIC: ARMADA TRAILER REVEALS THE ORKS AND AN APRIL LAUNCH DATE
http://www.pcgamer.com/battlefleet-gothic-armada-trailer-reveals-the-orks-and-an-april-launch-date/
I like what I've seen of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada so far, but the new “Orks” trailer is far and away my favorite. The previous teasers, for the Chaos and Imperium fleets, featured ominous, orchestral music, and urgent narration espousing their star-smashing might. The Ork trailer, on the other hand, is pretty much all WAAAGH!

VERDUN ADDS AMERICANS AND BELGIANS IN FREE HORRORS OF WAR UPDATE
http://www.pcgamer.com/verdun-adds-americans-and-belgians-in-free-horrors-of-war-update/
The First World War multiplayer FPS Verdun has grown significantly with the release of the free Horrors of War expansion that brings night-time combat to the game in the Champagne region of France. There's also a new Squad Defense co-op mode that pits groups of four players against attacking waves of AI enemies, more than 40 new weapons, new squad types including the Belgians and Americans, and even “gore settings.”

http://www.pcgamer.com/rollercoaster-tycoon-world-shunted-to-early-access-model/
After a few months of silence, new details on RollerCoaster Tycoon World have popped up — and they involve some pretty big changes to the game’s release model.
>>That shows confidence. I like it.

http://www.pcgamer.com/payday-2-adds-jimmy-your-new-free-psychopath/
Payday 2 has a new character to play as, totally free: Jimmy, played by one Sharlto Copley*. It’s all a tie-in with Hardcore Henry, the first-person action film that stars Copley and a bunch of other folks.
NEW ROCK BAND 4 REWARD TIER OFFERS ALL THE SONGS FOR $2,500
http://www.pcgamer.com/new-rock-band-4-reward-tier-offers-all-the-songs-for-2500/
One knock against the PC version of Rock Band 4 that's currently approaching the end of its crowdfunding campaign on Fig is that it's not compatible with Rock Band DLC—that is, songs—from other platforms. They're offered on a per-platform basis, so if you buy a track for the Xbox One version of the game, it's only good for that edition. Harmonix has thus added a new reward tier to the campaign that enables backers to purchase the entire Rock Band DLC library for use in the PC release in one fell swoop. It costs $2,500.
>>That's just obscene.
REPORT: GTA 6 IS IN DEVELOPMENT, WE ONCE CAME CLOSE TO GTA: TOKYO
http://www.pcgamer.com/gta-6-is-in-development-we-came-close-to-gta-tokyo/
The Grand Theft Auto series has never left the US*—or its fictional account of it, anyway—but apparently it once came close to boarding Air O for a trip to Tokyo. According to our friends at TechRadar, a source close to Rockstar says the developer was "serious" about making a GTA set in Tokyo, but pulled the plug after assessing the difficulty of moving the series outside the US. According to the source, Rockstar even made a trip to Japan to scope out the city.
>>As I said about Ubisoft in the previous post. I'll believe it when I see it.
THE ATARI VAULT OPENS, THIS IS WHAT'S INSIDE
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-atari-vault-opens-this-is-whats-inside/
When Atari announced the Atari Vault back in January as a collection of 100 “classic” 2600 and arcade games, my immediate question was, which ones? The answer was not forthcoming at the time (and yes, I asked), but now it is, because the bundle is now live on Steam.
UBISOFT STEAM SALE LEAVES BUNDLES COSTING MORE THAN INDIVIDUAL GAMES
http://www.pcgamer.com/ubisoft-steam-sale-leaves-bundles-costing-more-than-individual-games/
There's a big Ubisoft sale happening on Steam right now, but take care with your money: A strange mix of discounts means that some of the pre-existing bundles, like the Ubisoft Prime Pack or the Assassin's Creed Pack, now cost more than the total of the individual games they contain.
