NVIDIA has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, this is a game-ready driver for Oculus Rift that releases today. Not only that, but this driver adds an SLI profile for Dark Souls III.

GEARS OF WAR: ULTIMATE EDITION – THIRD PC UPDATE DETAILED, ADDS SUPPORT FOR ULTRA-WIDE RESOLUTIONS

The Coalition has revealed the release notes for the third PC update of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. According to the release notes, this patch will add support for ultra-wide resolutions and will feature some adjustments to low (1GB VRAM) texture settings.

 

STREET FIGHTER V – MARCH UPDATE TO BE RELEASED IN TWO DROPS, FIRST ONE COMING ON MARCH 28TH

Capcom has announced that the highly anticipated March update for Street Fighter V will be released in two separate drops. The first drop will be on March 28th and will contain the major fixes that Capcom promised, while Alex (alongside the in-game shop) will be coming in the second drop on March 30th.

 

TWO WORLDS III ANNOUNCED, TWO WORLDS II WILL RECEIVE ENGINE UPDATE

TopWare Interactive has announced that after selling over ten million units, Reality Pump Studios has officially begun work on the third part of its RPG series, Two Worlds. Two Worlds III is currently in the concept stage and scheduled for development over the next 36 months.

Topware has released a new set of screenshots from the upcoming upgraded version of Two Worlds II. Two Worlds II will receive a major engine update that will allow for a much higher level of character and landscape detail, an HD-GUI, in addition to tons of in-game achievements, co-op multiplayer, and lots of new in-game features and upgrades.

 

DAYZ – NEW VIDEO SHOWS PERFORMANCE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DX9 & DX11

Bohemia Interactive has released a new video for the standalone version of DayZ, showcasing the performance difference between its DX9 and its upcoming DX11 mode. PC gamers can expect a performance boost of around 10-20fps in DX11 mode.

It appears that Ubisoft has switched sides and is now working closely with AMD in order to optimize its PC games. During AMD’s Capsaicin event, Ubisoft revealed that AMD’s DirectX support is what makes its future games look better, like the upcoming Watch_Dogs 2.
