Some of those PC aren't very expensive, for coming from they come. What I don't fully understand is the "bundle" price: if that involves the PC AND the Rift, why are they cheaper than just the PC?

And don't tell me that it's because they want to sell them because that goes against the $600 price tag of the Oculus Rift.

Today I've seen the latest Anno 2205 game on a retail store for 19.99 € and no, it wasn't on sale. This marks the second time I've seen it at that price, after I saw it on another store last week at that same price.

Given that the game launched only three months ago and that is still full price on Steam (but with a hefty 40% off sale), can we say that the game has flopped?

Well once it launched I kept an eye on it for about a month and needless to say it wasn'[t recieved all that well since it was met with eprformance issues out the gate, along with being made "too simple" in terms of gameplay compared to the last ANNO. Also the original askign price put me fof along with it requiring Uplay so I never really had a desire to buy it.

Until Ubisoft revamps Uplay entirely or doesn't ask you to install when you buy from Steam then I just won't ever buy anything from them like I've done the past 3 years now.

Also I was just done downloading the enw Dying Light expansion and found out they didn't give you the option to remove Chromatic Aberration and it seems I'm not the only one who's upset about this news: http://steamcommunity.com/app/239140/discussions/0/405691147603610627/#p2

I won't be playing the expansion until Techland decide to patch an option in like Nixxes did for TR or until a mod is created because I absolutely cannot stand CA that is as bad as Dying Light's is. It's like playing a blind man in a town where everything has a brown tinge to it and specles everywhere, some even suffer from headaches due to the effect and I'm glad I don't suffer that much but it still ruins my gameplay in general and that's not me being snobby either (because someone on this forum will take it that way).

The game didn't have a big marketing campaign, but I'm surprised it hasn't done well with Christmas in the way. UPlay is part of the problem, of course, but there has to be something more (too high PC requirements, people burned with DLCs or expansions from 2070, etc.)

And Chromatic Aberration is mostly useless. Don't worry, I'm sure a mod will come soon .

Well, I've finally decided what games I'll get and they'll be Black Flag and New Vegas.

HoloDust, I was on the verge of getting the first FollOut games, but then I realized that the idea behind getting a FO game was to try if I would like them so I can get the future games, and the first FallOut games wouldn't work for that because the gameplay has changed a lot. Because of that, it's a matter of choosing between FO3 and New Vegas, and the revenge plot of New Vegas is more interesting.

And if I don't like it... well, I don't consider the money as mine so it won't matter .

And I'll get Black Flag because you've all praised the game so much that I have to see if it really is that good. Now the question is what edition to get. I'm thinking of buying the bare game and two DLCs, Freedom City and Illustrious Pirates. Does the Deluxe edition include one of those? Is this edition worth the extra 2.50 €?

JEMC, I guess that makes sense, if your goal is to get into current Fallout franchise...which, unfortunatelly, with every new Bethesda's instalment has less and less to do with actual Fallout. Can't say whether you'll like NV or not, but it is definitely better game than FO3 for fans of old Fallout (given that Obsidian made it).

Hope you have a lot of fun with both games.

DRAGON'S DOGMA: DARK ARISEN IS CAPCOM'S FASTEST-SELLING PC GAME

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/dragon-s-dogma-dark-arisen-is-capcom-s-fastest-selling-pc-game/0162379

The PC version of RPG Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is Capcom’s fast-selling game for the platform thus far.

The title – which debuted on January 15th on Steam – is also one of the publisher’s Top Three best-selling PC releases.

Dark Arisen is an enhanced version of 2012’s Dragon’s Dogma, which launched for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013.

Capcom does note that though Dark Arisen is its fast-selling PC title so far, the initial sales of the console versions were higher as they benefited from a full marketing push pre-launch.

“We are extremely pleased with the performance of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. It is our fastest-selling PC title to date, thanks to an audience eagerly waiting for it, and us delivering to the level of quality gamers were expecting,” marketing director Antoine Molant told MCV.

“Based on a similar sales period, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is in the Capcom's Top Three PC releases after these few weeks, along with Resident Evil and Dead Rising 3.”

XCOM 2 PLAYERS HAVE ALREADY KILLED 53 MILLION ALIENS

XCOM 2 PERFORMANCE ISSUES BEING LOOKED INTO BY FIRAXIS

http://www.pcgamer.com/xcom-2-performance-issues-being-looked-into-by-firaxis/

XCOM 2 launched to near-universal acclaim last week, but also with a near-universal caveat to that acclaim: it doesn't run as buttery as you'd expect a turn-based strategy game to, even on high-end hardware. Some players, including most of us on the PC Gamer team, have reported dips in framerate and hitching, especially during camera movement and in-engine cutscenes. Criticism of the issues has found its way onto two of the usual venues for such outcry: XCOM 2's Steam reviews page and Metacritic, where one user wrote "I literally can not recall the last game that gave me as much technical difficulties as XCOM 2."

Pokrovsky had created memorable music for all of Larian's games, going all the way back to LED Wars in 1997, and became a Larian “face” through his livestreamed mini-concerts in support of Divinity: Original Sin. He left, as they say, very big shoes to fill.
