Oh, my. I'm sorry you're having problems.

Unfortunately, I'm not good with troubleshooting, so other than searching the net, I can't help you.

With that said, maybe the PC is trying to use the integrated GPU instead of your GPU card? Have you tried plugging the TV to your motherboard HDMI port to see if it works? If it does, then you can search how to disable it so your PC is forced to use the GPU as it should.

For some hnknown reason, Valve has decided to invite me to play their game that doesn't exist:

I'm obviously going to pass, I don't do multiplayer games, but shouldn't Valve/Steam know that already? It's odd.

Seems to be working now. Don't ask me, rather odd. The TV updated recently, maybe something around that.

Got one today myself. I think they're doing this instead of pulling an Artifact and making a big thing of the game, so this one seems to be getting a ghost test phase and likely a ghost launch.

More than a ghost release, I think it will be something like Hi-Fi Rush or the like, when the game goes live the same moment it's revealed.

So, did you accept it or not?

Yeah, got an invite to Deadlock as well. Initially I was excited thinking it was the game from the 90's...

Yeah sounds about right.

I accepted mine, but have yet to test it, but from what I'm seeing, it seems there's quite an amount of people testing it.

First screenshots of Bloodborne on PC via the shadPS4 emulator
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/first-screenshots-of-bloodborne-on-pc-via-the-shadps4-emulator/
The shadPS4 team has shared on its Discord server the first screenshots of Bloodborne running on PC via its PlayStation 4 emulator. This is a huge milestone as, for the first time, Bloodborne can actually go in-game. Yep, you read that right. Bloodborne on PC may soon happen.
Not only that but Dark Souls Remastered can now pass the Character Select Screen. Similarly to Bloodborne, it can now go in-game. And that’s not all. It appears that Dark Souls Remastered already runs with 60fps.
Do note, though, that Dark Souls Remastered is NOT playable. Although it shows great signs, it will immediately crash when moving the character. I also expect it to have a lot of visual glitches. Still, I’m impressed with the fact that DS Remastered can even run on shadPS4.

Mortal Kombat 1 now has a cool Star Wars Modpack to download
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/mortal-kombat-1-now-has-a-cool-star-wars-modpack-to-download/
Star Wars and Mortal Kombat 1 fans, here is something special for you. After the X-Men 97, Suicide Squad, Disney and Dreamworks vs Pixar mods, we now have a Star Wars modpack.
Created by “IOI-632671”, this modpack replaces most of the game’s characters with those from the Star Wars franchise. As with the previous mods, these are just 3D model character swap mods. In other words, they won’t replace the voices or the movesets of the original MK characters. Still, this is something that will put a smile on the face of all Star Wars fans.
Going into more details, the mods replace Omniman with Darth Vader, as well as Shao Kahn’s 2nd skin and Kitana’s 1st skin with Darth Maul and Slave Leia, respectively. Chewbacca will also replace Goro, and you can expect to be playing as the Mandalorian over Peacemaker. Emperor Palpatine will replace Shujinko, and Jarjar will replace Homelander. Then we have Kylo Ren in the place of Ermac, and a Stormtrooper over Stryker/Peacemaker. Finally, C3PO will replace Sektor.

This Cyberpunk 2077 Mod can improve Path Tracing performance by up to 40%
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/this-cyberpunk-2077-mod-can-improve-path-tracing-performance-by-up-to-40/
Modders ‘SammiLucia’ and ‘Xerme’ have released a new version of Cyberpunk Ultra Plus Engine Control Panel and Hotfixes. This mod, among other things, helps improve the performance of Path Tracing. Thus, it’s a must for pretty much everyone. So, let’s dive in and see what’s in store for you.
To showcase these performance improvements, YouTube’s ‘MxBenchmarkPC’ shared the following video. In this video, we see the game running with up to 40% better performance when using the mod. That’s on an Intel Core i7-10700F with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080.
The modders have claimed that there aren’t any major visual differences between the modded and the vanilla path tracing. In fact, they claim that the mod can improve visuals and fix many vanilla bugs. Also, the mod works on both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. Since AMD GPUs struggle to run Ray Tracing/Path Tracing games, we highly recommend trying it if you own one.
It’s also worth noting that the mod enables an entirely new type of path tracing called PTNext. This is using ReGIRDI+ReGIRGI, which is an advancement over ReSTIRGI+RTXD. Not only that but it will reduce object pop-in. As such, you’ll now get a more stable image.
And that’s not all. The mod fixes the game’s crushed blacks by expanding the bottom of histogram. It also fixes stutters, FPS slow-downs, crashes, and out-of-VRAM problems with the vanilla game on GPUs with less than 12GB of video memory.

The first hotfix for Fallout: London has been released, and here is its full changelog

The modding team behind Fallout: London has just released the first hotfix for it. From what we can see, this hotfix fixes a number of bugs that plagued the initial version of the mod. So, if you are currently playing it, you should definitely install it.
Team FOLON has also revealed that Fallout London has become the fastest redeemed game of all time on GOG. In the first 24 hours, the mod was redeemed more than 500,000 times.

Fallout 4 just got an Enhanced Movement Mod which adds/improves sliding, sprinting, directional movement speed, and more
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/fallout-4-just-got-an-enhanced-movement-mod-which-improves-sliding-sprinting-directional-movement-speed-and-more/
Modder ‘bp42s’ has released an amazing new mod for Fallout 4. Titled Enhanced Movement, this mod aims to improve sliding, sprinting, directional movement speed, and more. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
As said, Enhanced Movement adds and improves movement mechanics such as sliding, sprinting, directional movement speed, and more. Moreover, the mod is highly modular. As such, each of its modules can be toggled and configured individually in the MCM at any time.
To slide, you’ll have to press the crouch key while sprinting at full speed. This works similarly to the slide mechanic in other modern games, like Call of Duty Titanfall 2, and Apex Legends. And in case you’re wondering, yes. You can shoot while sliding.
It’s also worth noting that outside of combat, sprinting will now cost 0 AP. This will help you explore the environments more easily. Thus, you won’t have to pay attention to your AP when traveling on foot.
However, swimming and sneaking will now drain your AP. This will bring an additional challenge to the game. Furthermore, when you fall from a large height, your character will stumble briefly, both in first-person and third-person.

Fallout: New Vegas just got a new fan expansion, featuring 6+ hours of gameplay with 20+ quests, 35+ fully voiced characters, new minor factions and more
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/fallout-new-vegas-just-got-a-new-fan-expansion-featuring-6-hours-of-gameplay-with-20-quests-35-fully-voiced-characters-new-minor-factions-and-more/
Modder ‘ToxicWhiteout’ has created a new fan expansion for Fallout New Vegas called Dry Wells – Legion Expansion. This expansion gives you over 6 hours of gameplay, with more than 20 quests. It also has 35 fully voiced characters, new smaller factions, and more stuff. So, let’s dive in and see in more detail what it offers.
Dry Wells – Legion Expansion rebuilds the Dry Wells from the ground up. As such, it allows you to visit it before nuking it on Lonesome Road. This new area comes with new assets. It also expands upon Legion lands in Arizona.
The mod includes over 20 quests, both marked and unmarked. These quests range from small tasks, like delivering items, to bigger challenges like large battles. You’ll also be able to explore medium-sized dungeons. Players can also expect four questlines. Each of them has multiple parts. Two of these focus on the main Legion story, while another is about freeing slaves. There’s also a short questline where players can make choices for a new group called The Hunters’ Guild.
The modder claims that your choices will also affect the main quest. This should also increase the mod’s replayability. Or at least that’s what ToxicWhiteout claimed. I haven’t installed it, so I can’t comment on it.
Not only that but players can expect 35+ voiced characters. Plus, it will allow players to obtain a new home by completing the main questline. Also, it will allow you to learn about the Twisted Hairs tribe through hidden notes scattered throughout the map and see where they were betrayed.
>> Sadly, there are no screenshots nor videos of the mod.

Half-Life Alyx NoVR Summer Update 2024 Available for Download
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/half-life-alyx-novr-summer-update-2024-available-for-download/
The modding team behind Half-Life Alyx NoVR has released the Summer Update 2024 for it. Thanks to this mod, those who do not own a VR headset can play this Half-Life game. In other words, it’s a must-have mod for most HL fans out there. So, let’s see what’s in store for us in its latest version.
Summer Update 2024 makes it possible to complete all toner puzzles, from start to finish! These puzzles get very tricky by the end and offer a very fun way to progress through the levels. Not only that but all achievements are now obtainable.
Players will also be able now to explore City 17 with New Locomotion Changes and Map Edits. The team has made changes to how weapons sway, bob and overall move as you walk and run. Additionally, players can no longer break level logic. The team has also made proper edits so players cannot break the map boundaries and other similar issues.
Finally, this latest update adds a new low accuracy crosshair. This new low accuracy cross-hair pushes players to more carefully plan their shots and use their iron sight upgrades more often.

First-Person/Over-The-Shoulder Mod Released for Silent Hill 3
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/first-person-over-the-shoulder-mod-released-for-silent-hill-3/
Remember the First-Person/Over-The-Shoulder Mod we shared last week for Silent Hill 4? Well, a similar mod was just released for Silent Hill 3.
Created by modder ‘ZealotTormunds’, this mod allows you to play Silent Hill 3 with new cameras. Its main feature is the Over The Shoulder camera, making the game feel more like the modern remakes of Resident Evil. And then, we have the experimental first-person viewpoint.
To install the mod, you’ll have to drag and drop all the files from the .rar into your SH3 root folder. The mod is also compatible with Steam006’s fix (and it’s HIGHLY recommended to play this way). To open the mod menu, pause the game with ESC and then press F1. This only works when your game is paused (it’s the opposite to the SH4 mod). Also, the modder added F2 as the hotkey to switch the camera mod ON/OFF while you’re in game.

Fallout 4's best modder is bringing Doom to Starfield and bards to Skyrim
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/fallout-4s-best-modder-is-bringing-doom-to-starfield-and-bards-to-skyrim/
As QuakeCon kicked off yesterday I was surprised and delighted to see a familiar name pop up repeatedly in Bethesda's stream. No, not Todd Howard. Not Marty Stratton. Not Doom Guy or John Starfield or Beth Esda (the reclusive and rarely-seen 106-year-old owner of Bethesda Game Studios).
It was Kinggath! Kinggath is a modder I associate so strongly with Fallout 4 that, as far as I'm concerned, he invented it. The Sim Settlements and Sim Settlements 2 mods Kinggath built are so essential to Fallout 4 that the game might as well not even exist without them. I won't go into a 10-paragraph sales pitch because I've already done that: here's why you should never play Fallout 4 without Sim Settlements 2.

Doom Eternal's new official mod support includes 'the very same tools' used to create the game
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/doom-eternal-s-new-official-mod-support-includes-the-very-same-tools-used-to-create-the-game/
It took more than four years, but Doom Eternal, the latest iteration of id Software's long-running shooter series, now has official mod tools on Steam.
Doom Eternal mods already exist—you can browse through piles of them at sites like NexusMods. But the addition of official mod support, and access to the new Doom Eternal: idStudio toolset, promises to enable the creation of far more complex mods than were previously available, and to simplify the process of sharing them via a new in-game mod browser.

Monday news, the slightly longer than usual part two:

'I dunno what the negativity is for, people had fun': Palworld dev comes to Helldivers 2's defence after stats-tracker decrees both games burnt out
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/survival-crafting/i-dunno-what-the-negativity-is-for-people-had-fun-palworld-dev-comes-to-helldivers-2-s-defence-after-stats-tracker-decrees-both-games-burnt-out/
There's been an increased desire, it seems, to highlight the concurrent users of formerly mega-popular games like Palworld and Helldivers 2, see a line going down on a graph, and decree them dead and buried.
Both games, in fact, have a pretty similar story. Palworld had an all-time peak of 2 million players, while Helldivers 2 enjoyed a booming 450,000 players at its all-time high. While that's no longer the case, neither game is dead in the water by any stretch of the imagination.

Monster Hunter fans are so hungry for Wilds gameplay that Capcom's new 60-second weapon clips are racking up millions of views
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/monster-hunter-fans-are-so-hungry-for-wilds-gameplay-that-capcom-s-new-60-second-weapon-clips-are-racking-up-millions-of-views/
It was almost 2 am last night when I saw something that gave me the biggest grin: A 66-second video showcasing the hunting horn in Monster Hunter Wilds. I watched it once, then again, then turned the phone to my partner to show her. "Oh that's sick," she muttered half-asleep as the horn user played a melody that created an area-of-effect buff on the battlefield.
The Hunting Horn video, part of a series of videos showcasing what's new with each weapon type in Wilds, is so short that Capcom really could've published it as a YouTube Short or TikTok, but I think the company bet on Monster Hunter fans being ravenous for any Wilds gameplay, and it was right. Since Capcom started publishing them on YouTube four days ago, these overview videos have racked up millions of views. If you had any doubt left that Wilds is gonna be the biggest Monster Hunter to date, I assume it's squashed now.
>> I couldn’t care less about the views, but I thought that some of you may be interested to hear about those videos.

Bungie promises to address the 'uncertainty' surrounding the future of Destiny 2 following massive layoffs last week
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/bungie-promises-to-address-the-uncertainty-about-the-future-of-destiny-2-following-massive-layoffs-last-week/
It hasn't been a good couple weeks for Bungie. At the end of July, the Destiny 2 studio laid off 220 employees, representing roughly 17% of its total workforce; shortly after that, a report surfaced alleging that Bungie CEO Pete Parsons had spent more than $2.4 million on vintage cars over the past two years; and shortly after that it came to light that hopes of avoiding layoffs by really nailing The Final Shape expansion were completely misplaced, because the cuts were reportedly planned regardless of the expansion's outcome.
(...)
In a recent post on Reddit, the Destiny 2 team acknowledged those concerns and promised to address them in the near future.

https://www.pcgamer.com/games/be-a-cute-platypus-solve-some-zelda-style-puzzles-in-ogu-and-the-secret-forest/
The ever-growing genre of games that mimic the old top-down Zelda titles has another entry with Ogu and the Secret Forest. Releasing on Steam at the end of last month, Ogu has gotten a fairly positive reception from early players. The hand-drawn 2D art and characters are certainly pretty charming, as is little hat-wearing net-swinging platypus protagonist Ogu.

Plop tiles to make flourishing ecosystems in placement puzzler Preserve

New tile placement game Preserve has a cool theme: Build up flourishing ecosystems by dropping down water, plants, and animals to form environments within your larger biome to sustain ever-more-complex ecosystems. It's set up as a puzzle because everything  you place has a symbiotic effect on everything else. Bees and flowers need each other, as a very simple example.

Arkane founder says Skyrim is an immersive sim, and Baldur's Gate 3 is 'immersive sim-adjacent'
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/arkane-founder-says-skyrim-is-an-immersive-sim-and-baldurs-gate-3-is-immersive-sim-adjacent/
WolfEye, the studio founded by Dishonored co-creator Raphael Colantonio, has a new game coming out. It's apparently a first-person immersive sim with a structure between Prey and Fallout: New Vegas, and that's exactly the kind of thing we at PC Gamer HQ need to hear to rev up the hype engines.
Speaking to PC Gamer's Joshua Wolens recently, Colantonio agreed to get into the weeds about what exactly counts as an immersive sim. His definition of the term is unusually broad, it turns out. Asked about why there hasn't been a Call of Duty-scale hit in the genre, he replied that there has: Skyrim.

https://www.pcgamer.com/games/despite-imminent-deslisting-sega-says-sonic-generations-will-still-be-available-via-a-bundle/
2011 3D platformer Sonic Generations is getting an updated version later this year, with Sonic x Shadow Generations, and before that release comes the original is going to get delisted... which a lot of people don't like the idea of, as you might imagine. In response to fan feedback, however, Sega has announced that the currently-available Sonic Generations Collection will remain available as part of a bundle with other older Sonic games.

World of Warcraft: The War Within is ramping up to be massive for the MMO's quality of life. Warbands, as a feature, make the game incredibly alt-friendly, letting players trade key currencies, "warbound" items, and giving them account-wide storage accessible from anywhere for a pretty nominal fee.
Transmog—that is, the game's outfit system that lets you swap out the models of your equipped gear—also had a massive boost. Previously, you'd only unlock appearances for items your character could equip themselves. Now almost anything you pick up will drop into your collection.
Update:
Community manager Kaivax cleaned up confusion regarding the transmog system, posting to the forums late last weekend

Arrowhead CEO says 'we need to do better' after incendiary response to flamethrower nerfs in Helldivers 2: 'Me just talking about it isn't enough, actions matter'

Helldivers 2, it would seem, is having balance problems. As fellow PC Gamer writer Morgan Park noted last week, the major update Escalation of Freedom, while bringing plenty of cool new features to the game, has also set everything on fire. Again.
(...)
The studio's new CEO, Shams Jorjani, has been taking to both Twitter and the game's Discord to share his two super credits on the situation and—for the most part—has maintained an admirably cool head about it all, remarking that he prefers to hear people impassioned rather than "not giving a sh*t".
His replies on Discord, however, paint an interesting picture: One of a studio racing to keep up with the demands of that loud and impassioned playerbase. Jorjani writes: "I haven't spoken to everyone of course—but many of us are disappointed on a few levels … I think a lot of you, fairly point out 'wtf—we went through this earlier this year. Why are we here again'".

'Let Super Earth burn': Helldivers 2 players are committing treason to protest its latest patch—allowing a tide of bots to creep worryingly close to home

The latest Helldivers 2 patch has gone down about as smoothly as a glass full of napalm—chiefly due to some nerfs to the flamethrower, which has sparked a full-on wildfire of criticism so bad the CEO of the studio felt inclined to give a response.
One fascinating form of protest, however, appears to be happening in the game itself (thanks, GamesRadar). "Let the bots advance, let Super Earth burn," writes one player on the game's subreddit, showing a map of the galactic war with an Automaton front that's… coming a little close to Super Earth there, chief.

As long as they are full featured they'll be a step up from the awful 6500XT and 6400. Those wastes of sand lacked encoding features and their already meh performance tanked on PCIE 3.0 systems which were the systems they'd most likey be bought for.

Their performance doesn't even have to be great, just better than integrated. - They are low-end GPU's.
But when they are incompetent at even the most basic tasks like encoding/decoding of video streams, then they are useless at even the most basic tasks.

Hopefully the RX7400 has 1536 shaders at a high clockrate and fed with 6-8GB of VRAM with around 150GB/s of bandwidth.
That would be a potent budget offering.

In reality? Probably 1024 shaders, 4GB of Ram with 120GB/s of bandwidth give or take.

That was the big problem with the 6300, as an 8700G has the same 12CU but with simple DDR5 it could vastly outpace with 6300 because it came with just 32-bit connection and 64GB/s bandwidth (even with just 2 DDR5-5600 DIMMS you would be at 89GB/s)

Since there isn't a 7500 (yet), I suspect they'll come with 20-28CU and faster memory (128bit for the 6400 and 96bit for the 6300 to get to 6GB), which would be much better than the 6300-6500XT line, but still just barely better than an APU.

But considering the market those cards are made for (Office PCs where the IT still prefer having a GPU inside instead of relying on the iGPU/APU and entry-level gamers/gamers in poorer countries where bigger GPUs are horrendously expensive compared to their income), this would be enough until the next gen rolls in.
