I guess your enjoyment of The Calisto Protocol will, in part, depend on Dead Space. If you liked the first two games, it's more likely that you'll like this one.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

The issue I have with Advertisements is they have typically been vectors to disseminate viruses and maleware... Back in the Windows 2000/XP days, I saw a corresponding decrease in viruses and maleware once I started to Ad-block.
Even credible sites like Anandtech had issues where they infected thousands of users due to a rogue advert.
See here: https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/virus-alert-ie-users-got-it-from-banner-ads.1455762/

Probably less common today, but I rather not go through hours of cleaning out a device because a company wanted to push an advert I don't care about down my neck.

The secondary effect is that on a mobile device, adverts actually decrease battery life due to the extra CPU, GPU and Ram usage, plus Wifi/Cellular bandwidth required.

The third effect is that some advertisements collect device and user data and sell them, profiting off our information.

I just don't see the benefit to the consumer, other than to keep supporting these companies so they can keep providing content.

Three games for Humble Choice January 2024 have been leaked.

  • Marvel's Midnight Suns
  • Two Point Campus
  • Aragami 2

A bit disappointed - I was planning to get Midnight Suns deluxe edition - hopefully the DLC goes on sale more often.

I recalled posting a news article about a patch and looked for it: https://www.pcgamer.com/nier-automata-is-finally-getting-a-fix-on-steam/

There's also this Steam blog post: https://steamcommunity.com/games/524220/announcements/detail/3006699289308512390.

The Steam blog post is more detailed. I hope that patch fixed the issues you had with the game.
