Those Ever Crisis outfits... I mean, they are perfect. Ever Crisis comes out on mobile September 7th.

Modders for Final Fantasy VII Remake for PC will be ready to put them in it.

Planning to try out Ever Crisis when it comes out. Cant wait. Excited!

Wait, Titan Quest II is coming? Awesome! Now I hope they don't screw it up, since the devs of the original are (quite successfully) doing other things now. Sounds like there's a good chance it's going to be good, at the very least. It's been a long time since there's been much to look forward to in terms of new games, but the situation's been getting pretty good recently. I'm really surprised.

Aye, but it says "coming soon", which could mean this yr or possibly early next year, they haven't exactly given any date or month to run with.

Afaik it is being created by the dev team behind SpellForce 3, so I've got some confidence they can pull it off. Just gotta hope they don't pull a Diablo 4 and slap in stupid shit like a season pass/battlepass or a cash shop. I want this ARPG to be authentic like Grim Dawn and the original TQ.

Honestly, I lost interest in Diablo 4 extremely quickly. Got to level 20 or 30 and within a few days after release and just haven't gone back... And this is coming from a series veteran who played the crap out of all the titles upon release.

Titanquest 1 was great, the remaster was solid... So I have high hopes for the sequel... To be honest the strong point of Titanquest was always the Mythology and story, but presented with good visuals.

Baldurs Gate 3 on the other hand... Oh boy. Moist. Just moist. So much moist.

Starfield is going to end this year out amazingly for me I think.

Not what I'd call a good gen on gen uplifts or good pricing either as you can get a 7900XT for $700-$750 vs $650 which is a big leap in performance if you want to go AMD.

NVIDIA next-gen GeForce RTX 50 “GB20X” GPU lineup to feature GB205 GPU, but no X04 part

https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-next-gen-geforce-rtx-50-gb20x-gpu-lineup-to-feature-gb205-gpu-but-no-x04-part

" NVIDIA Next-Gen GPU Series GB202, GB203, GB205, GB206, GB207 — kopite7kimi"

If the rumours of RDNA 4 not having any top end is true, GB202 will likely go to workstation, GB203 = 90 class and maybe 80 class as well. GB205 and below are 70Ti class and below.

Assuming that is the case.. kinda expected to see even more cut down silicon down the stack. Without any real competition in the DGPU market, there's no incentive for Nvidia to offer more. Probably safe to say that if you are in the market for a new mid-range graphics card, might as well buy now. Or maybe wait a couple months for the 7700/7800XT if you care for efficiency.

So far THQNordic has done a good job when it comes to new entries in IPs they bought from the old THQ, with the exception of Saints Row, and they seem to follow a strategy of launhing DLCs rather than microtransactions.

I think they can deliver a good game, but we'll see. After all, the trailer tells us nothing and the few screenshots look good, but don't tell us much.

There's a problem with the cutting down hardware even more strategy that you fear. Since AMD would no longer fight for the high-end, they'll need to make their products compelling, and that means delivering good performance (for their tier) at good prices.

If Nvidia relaxes and cuts down their hardware even more than they've done this gen, they may find themselves getting kicked in the ass by AMD in every tier they compete, putting Nvidia in a bad position. Sure, having the faster and more powerful card is great for marketing, but for those in the market looking to spend, say $350, if what AMD gives them for that money is 15% faster than what Nvidia brings to the table, the choice is quite easy... at leat for most.

So, who knows, maybe this new AMD strategy could also force Nvidia to get back on track. More so if Intel stays in the game and also goes for marketshare over profits (for the time being).

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

RDOA3 is just 1% faster compared to RDNA2 with identical clock and VRAM speeds. There is strong variation game to game, example RDR2 is 20% faster but Horizon ZD is 10-30% slower.

Overall RDNA3 is 3-10% faster irl compared to RNDA2 depending on games and resolution but all of it comes from higher clocks and power consumption. The 7600 is very similar to the 6650XT (which is an overclocked 6600).

Finally hit 4,000 on DLC lol

Congrats (I guess).

So far I'm hearing a mix of good and bad things going on from folks testing the Tempest Rising artist.

The good:

FMX sequence for the demo mission feels spot on with C&C vibes

Music is great

Unit designs looking crisp and atmosphere

The bad:

UI is not properly telegraphing to players like UI in C&C Tib Wars/RA3 nailed down 15 years ago.

No building rotation (which means players building a harvester above their base are screwed for getting resources faster compared to someone at the bottom of the map building theirs below their base).

Mouse acceleration.

Unit delay from command input.

Units clumping too tightly together.

Very strange and early "building complete" voice line, before the building is fully finished building.

FMV cutscenes having a lip sync issue (though I feel like this is trying to emulate long distance transmission issues like with real world communication issues, or just like old C&C FMV's).

One anti armoured unit being able to easily rip down base defences from afar and the turrets can do nothing against it.

Low income for general economy (750 creds per dropoff compared to Tib Wars 2400, before Tib Wars patched that generated income to slightly lower), while unit cost is high (one soldier apparently costs as much as 350 creds).

Honestly, it sounds like the game still needs more time in the oven, and I will say right now, I am absolutely not a fan of low income based economy in RTS games, especially with higher basic unit costs and an anti-turtle approach, because those are the hallmark signs of wanting to turn your RTS into a micro managed esports 5 min zerg match RTS game, not a game like C&C where base defences in RA 2 could hold down your fort, along with artillery units.

Really hoping they address all those issues, but especially the economy and turrets ones. I don't want to play the game and find out turrets are absolutely worthless like they were in games like Red Alert 3 and Tib wars, or a low economy, where I have to always resort to 5 min matches and only having tiny armies. The game should absolutely be focusing on the campaign/Skirmish players (as they are actually the biggest pool of RTS players, thanks to a SC II dev for letting us know that data over the years), and PVP should be a side mode, not the main meat and potatoes.
