Assuming that is the case.. kinda expected to see even more cut down silicon down the stack. Without any real competition in the DGPU market, there's no incentive for Nvidia to offer more. Probably safe to say that if you are in the market for a new mid-range graphics card, might as well buy now. Or maybe wait a couple months for the 7700/7800XT if you care for efficiency.
