I doubt MS will stop there. After they purchase Activision/Blizzard, who knows who they will go after next. I just hope they stop buying studios for a while after this one.

Urgh consolidation sucks in any industry, not just gaming.

I mainly play on PC so idc what happens to ABK and it doesn't affect me.. but it does and will affect millions of gamers for people who aren't invested in MS's ecosystem(s). Maybe not rn, but in the long term especially considering they'll own CoD.

The one good thing about this though is that hopefully ABK doesn't mandate so much of their games on its own platform. Having the chance to have Blizzard games on Steam is nice thought and something thats a long time coming. Hopefully they don't aquire anyone else big though. MS doesn't have the best track record when it comes to aquisitions.

Yea after all the emails that came out where they had a lot of internal back and forth on how to put Sony out of business shows that once they own ABK, things are gonna turn for the worse. And even if MS continues to make COD multiplatform, when the PS6 launches, Sony will need to decide between giving MS an early preview of their PS6 dev kits or COD will skip PS6 together as a launch title. So it's a lose-lose situation for them.

I was alright with companies purchasing smaller studios. Hell even Bethesda was alright but ABK is just going a tad too far. But as you said, least the games are coming to Steam lol.

NVIDIA not seeding GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB for reviews, AIBs hesitant to participate as well

Please do not buy this turd until it drops to less than $400

When neither Nvidia nor its pertners wants to send review samples, it's quite clear that the card is a turd and it would get wrecked by reviewers.

I don't even know if those $400 you say would be more fair or still overpriced.

That's a fairly big selection of both CPUs and GPUs.

By the way, what happens if someone buys a combo of 7600s CPU and GPU? Does he/she get two keys or gets upgraded to the Premium Edition?

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Traditionally it would be overpriced but in the current GPU landscape, I think it would be reasonable enough. It's basically a power efficient mid point between 3060 Ti and 3070 with 16GB of vram. I would certainly like it to be $250-$300 but we all know it isn't gonna happen.

If you buy a combo in terms of individual components, you will get two keys. But if you buy an entire computer with two AMD components, then you get the premium edition. Bofferbrauer2 for example can likely get the premium edition since he bought a laptop with two components.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

The premium edition of Starfield been bundled with AMD GPU's is nice especially if your going to buy the game anyway, It will be interesting to see over next 2 months if we get partner card deals taking the 7900XTX to £900 again or maybe lower and with the added Starfield value it could tempt me.

The ABK deal with MS doesnt bother me much.

If anything, there's a higher chance of Blizzard games like Diablo or Starcraft coming to Steam though there's a chance that it might still not come (like Minecraft).

Doesnt matter to me since I play on all platforms already.

I'm only PC. If there are StarCraft sequels, I would not say no to have it on Steam lol. But that's all I care about ABK's deal. I'm just a little concern that Sony buys Square Enix now and if so, I hope the games won't take much longer to be on PC...
