Nope, that wasn't posted. I would have noticed it!

Those prices make a lot more sense, and make things a lot more interesting durimg the important holiday sales.

+FuryX can't compete with the 980Ti. Its price drop will help it move more units.

+Now Fury and the 980 have the same price, so users will have to decide between better performance (Fury) or lower power consumption (980).

+390/390X and 970 are in a very interesting fight. The 390 is a lot cheaper with similar performance, and the 390X costs about the same and is usually faster. Plus they do have 8GB of VRAM.

And I guess that the newly launched 380X will also drop in price into the $199 slot.

Great move from AMD.

But Capcom seems to be doing pretty well in terms of releasing content that they own/make at least compared to SE.

This year alongside console releases we got....

-Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition a game that came out way back in 2008
-Resident Evil Revelations 2 an episodic resi
-Ultra Street Fighter IV 2015 DLC Costumes Still counts as being part of a game that came out back in 08 and then Ultra in 2014
-Mega Man Legacy Collection  A collection of old games from a time long since past
-Legend of Kay Anniversary Slight remake of a game from old times
-Resident Evil HD Remaster HD port of a game that got remastered a decade ago

Only things we got late from Capcom this year are....

-Dead Rising 2 DLCs (only because the game got edited out of GFWL thank goodness!)

Also a late dead rising 3 port which turned out bad.

-------

SE on the other hand is completely opposite of what Capcom does - less games and older games too.

Games released this year on par with console release

-Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward
-Lara Croft Temple of Osiris DLC

Games released later from other platforms

-Final Fantasy IV The After Years
-Final Fantasy V
-Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (at least a few months late)
-Dragon Quest Heroes Slime Edition (2 months after console release)

--------

Anyways, its fine with me - as long as the games are coming out and I tend to double dip when it comes to FF games :P!

I bolded some parts but that's honestly just how I see them in general in terms of content, what I want from those two are new games, brand spanking new, no remakes or HD ports of games from a decade ago, new stuff that is somehow exclusive to Nintendo or Sony. Until then it's just old or slightly late ports, HD/remakes.

I never have managed to properly figure using TF2 skins, especially since you need some pieces of outfits that I don't think I have.

I can't believe you've spend almost $50 in the first day of the Autumn Sales .

But yeah, another 67% off won't be surprising.

First day is pretty much the rest of the sales period ;o. No dailies or flash - so its gonna be the same until Dec 2nd lol.

I'll have some more funds coming in next month before the Winter sale from my YouTube channel - if anything I'll get Fallout New Vegas UE and Ys VI like that...or something else (if i dont spend it on bundling sites XD).

Exactly, this time you could think about it calmly, but what did you do? You wen't all for it!

Thats true but that is honestly what capcom has released majority of this year across all platforms XD.

Anyways, remasters are fine with me - episodic content is a no no unless the complete edition is available and only heavily discounted thus why I'm avoiding Resident Evil Revelations 2 like a plague right now.

I dont expect any exclusive titles but hopefully we'll see stuff like SFV treatment on other games in the future.

Well this year they have Monster Hunter X =P, next year they'll have:

Monster Hunter Stories

Ace Attorney 6

Deep down

Apart from 4 multiplat titles due enxt year 2 are exclusive above to Nintendo and one to PS4 with PC and Xbox getting nothing exclusive from them.

I don't even know of any of those multiplats are going to get delayed for PC either, especially Resi 7. Would be nice for once if Capcom made a game exclusive for PC that wasn't an always online game or MMO. For me though if they release any more episodic games I'll likely stay away from those indefinitely.

A couple of weeks ago, we informed you about the upcoming remake for System Shock. And today, Polygon revealed the first screenshots for System Shock Remake. Night Dive Studios has acquired the rights to the franchise and these screenshots show how close – at least visually – to the original material this Remake will be (Polygon has a comparison between the original and the remake).

>>What a let down. I don't see any difference between the new and old games.

It’s all about fun, breakneck racing and over-the-top crashes." What else can you ask for?!

THE ORIGINAL FALLOUT IS BEING MODDED INTO FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-original-fallout-is-being-modded-into-fallout-new-vegas/

The original Fallout is still immensely playable, but it does look old. Fallout: New Vegas looks pretty old too for that matter, but this modding project, which aims to bring the story of Fallout to the New Vegas engine, is likely to be seen as an improvement by some.

GRATUITOUS SPACE BATTLES 2 DEVELOPER IS "MOVING ON"

http://www.pcgamer.com/gratuitous-space-battles-2-developer-is-moving-on/

The sci-fi fleet-building strategy game Gratuitous Space Battles was pretty good, but the sequel, released earlier this year, didn't measure up. We criticized it for technical problems and "easy cheese strategies" in our review, although we also said it could be saved with a combination of bug fixes and "a huge change to the game's core mechanics," through either patches or unofficial mods. And it has been updated more than a half-dozen times since then, and now stands at version 1.40. But that's where it will stop.

>>I'd ask you to read the whole piece, because it leaves you with mixed feelings. On one side, you almost want to punch him in the face, but on the other side it's  understandable.

DYING LIGHT: THE FOLLOWING AND SEASON PASS PRICES ARE GOING UP

http://www.pcgamer.com/dying-light-the-following-and-season-pass-prices-are-going-up/

The upcoming Dying Light DLC The Following is apparently quite big: Big enough, according to developer Techland, to be a standalone game in its own right. It won't be, though, because doing so would force a delay in its launch—but the "increased scale" of the expansion has led the studio to decide that it needs to jack the price up a bit, along with that of the season pass.

ROCKET LEAGUE HOCKEY-THEMED SNOW DAY MODE DATED

http://www.pcgamer.com/rocket-league-hockey-themed-snow-day-mode-dated/

On December 14 Rocket League players will be able to take to the ice in a Christmassy new game mode that replaces the ball with a giant puck. The update will also add a bunch of rare "Winter Games" items for a limited time, which you can unlock by playing. Psyonix says that if you don't get the items this time around, "you’ll have to wait until next year to get them again!"

REPORT – A NUMBER OF GAMES INCREASED THEIR PRICES JUST BEFORE STEAM’S AUTUMN SALE

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/report-a-number-of-games-increased-their-prices-just-before-steams-autumn-sale/

Steam Spy is Steam stats service based on Web API provided by Valve that automatically gathers data from Steam user profiles, analyzes it and presents in simple, yet beautiful, manner. And according to its creator, a number of games increased their prices just before Steam’s Autumn Sale.

Going into more details, SteamSpy claimed that Wreckfest’s price was raised from $29.99 to $34.99, Auto Dealership Tycoon’s price was raised from $4.99 to $5.99 and Epistory’s price was raised from $9.99 to $12.99.

As Polygonien claimed, the increased price for Epistory might have been tied to the recent release of chapter 2. This is a legit reason, so let’s exclude that one from the list.

SteamSpy’s creator did not reveal any other games that were affected by this phenomenon.

For what is worth, Bugbear Entertainment released today a new patch for Wreckfest that introduced – among some fixes and general improvements – a new playground. Normally this shouldn’t justify an increase to a game’s price, but this could very well be the case (unless of course the game’s price gets back to $29.99 when Steam’s Autumn Sale ends).

SteamSpy is not the only source that shows this – somehow – abnormal price increase for some games just before the launch of Steam’s Autumn Sale.

As we can see here, various games saw an increases just before Steam’s Autumn Sale. Among them are Sniper: Ghost Warrior, Duke Nukem 3D, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Season Pass, the Syberia series and Overlord: Fellowship of Evil.

SHAME ON THEM!!
