One thing I will say that I liked about my 3080 is that during the winter, it would heat up my room relatively quickly as I play games. With my 4090, it takes forever because in order to achieve the framerate that my monitor supports, it barely uses 300 watts in a lot of games.

You would think that, but the GPU alone would be expensive, and Suigi's prices all the more lol.

For real though, Suigi ain't cheap, but I really love their style.

You should still ask for more. The card should come, at the very least, with an autograph.

oh, nono, lol, that's not what I meant XD.

What I meant to say was, that Suigi's commission prices are pretty high (they are a Japanese artist, so then Yen vs Dollar/GPB isn't as great, so they offset that by charging what US artists charge to make up for it).

Their sig always comes with their modern works though, the pic I posted was from like 5 yrs ago (frankly the only few that's sfw, like my avatar, which is also one of Suigi's works).

Reviews of the 7900X3Ds are live now.

Interestingly, TechPowerUp has a review with the cacheless CCD disabled as a preview of the 7800X3Dand that seems a much sweeter deal. No risk of some games scheduling incorrectly to the cacheless core as it happened with the 7900s and a whopping 100W less of power consumption vs. the 13900K, despite matching or outperforming it in most titles.

Seems like the one to get (and likely the reason it was delayed so AMD can cash in with the 7900s?)

Very impressive results. Those that waited for Zen 4 X3D will have the best of all worlds. Along with the advantages you get with AM5, this is undoubtedly a winner. I'll likely be upgrading my build to 7950X3D around my birthday since I do need those extra cores assuming I can even find one in stock. Techpowerup also did a 7800X3D preview by disabling the non Vcache CCD as haxxiy mentioned. The results are largely similar in gaming with lower power consumption so you can check it out here:

*Note*: SteamDB has done some changes to their Top Sellers list. Until last week, they updated it every Sunday as was shown on the screenshots I posted here (ie: last week (19 February) , the week before (12 February)). Now they've changed, retroactively, that to be updated every Tuesday.

Therefore, I have nothing to post today. I'll probably post it Wednesday.

First Atomic Heart Mods add Custom FOV, DLAA support & Walk Mode
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/first-atomic-heart-mods-add-custom-fov-dlaa-support-walk-mode/
Focus Entertainment released its latest first-person shooter, Atomic Heart, on PC last week. And, since the game uses Unreal Engine 4, the first mods for it have appeared online. (...)
>> There are three mods listed in the article, without screenshots nor videos.

Atomic Heart mods are here
https://www.pcgamer.com/atomic-heart-mods-are-here/
BioShock-esque FPS Atomic Heart has been out for less than a week, but mods are rolling out already. Nexus Mods has more than 30 available, and so far they've racked up over 48,000 downloads between them.
>> They repeat the FOV slider mod from the DSOGaming article, but also includes new ones.

One Piece Odyssey gets Nude Mods for Nico Robin & Nami
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/one-piece-odyssey-gets-nude-mods-for-nico-robin-nami/
Well, we all knew this was going to happen. One Piece Odyssey features some really busty female characters and as you’d expect, modders have released nude mods for Nico Robin and Nami.
These nude mods are currently available on NexusMods. All you have to do is visit its main section, enable the Adult filter, and search for “nude“. As always, though, we won’t allow direct links to these mods. Nevertheless, with the aforementioned guide, most of you will be able to find them.
>> You'll have to do some work to get these mods.

Elden Ring gets two cool Dark Souls 3 & Bloodborne Mods
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/elden-ring-gets-two-cool-dark-souls-3-bloodborne-mods/
Modder ‘corvianNoctis’ has released two cool Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne mods for Elden Ring that most FromSoftware fans will appreciate. The first one adds to the game Gascoigne from Bloodborne, featuring his scarf and coat physics. The second mod adds to the game Corvian Knight from Dark Souls 3’s DLC.
>> The article has some screenshots.

New Valheim Mod adds Experience & Level Up RPG System
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/new-valheim-mod-adds-experience-level-up-rpg-system/
Modder ‘Thrakal’ has released an interesting new mod for Valheim that brings to the game some basic RPG elements. As the title implies, this mod adds to the game an Experience and Level Up System.
Going into more details, the mod allows you to gain experience by killing monsters and bosses. Furthermore, every level gained awards skill points, which can be used across a variety of skills for your character.
>> Again, no screenshots nor videos of this mod.

Hogwarts Legacy gets Harry Potter Hermione, GTA: San Andreas CJ & Batman Dick Grayson Mods
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/hogwarts-legacy-gets-harry-potter-hermione-gta-san-andreas-cj-batman-dick-grayson-mods/
Hogwarts Legacy came out earlier this month on PC, and as you’d expect, a number of character swap mods have appeared for it. Therefore, we’ve decided to share the most interesting ones.
Before continuing, I have to admit that I’m shocked that there isn’t any mod that allows you to play as Harry Potter himself. Seriously, I was expecting this to be the first character swap mod for Hogwarts Legacy. Not only that, but there isn’t any mod to let you play as Ron Weasley. Thankfully, though, a Hermione Mod is currently available for download.
>> There are some screenshots and a video for the Robin mod.

We're saved: this 'Morrowind Removed' mod gets the Morrowind out of Morrowind
https://www.pcgamer.com/were-saved-this-morrowind-removed-mod-gets-the-morrowind-out-of-morrowind/
The one thing Morrowind had too much of was Morrowind, and now, thanks to CaffeineSnake over on NexusMods, that problem is solved. First spotted (opens in new tab) by Elder Scrolls YouTuber Micky D, Morrowind Removed gets rid of the island of Vvardenfell entirely, leaving just open ocean (and the island of Solstheim, if you've got Bloodmoon installed). To quote the mod's author, "Vvardenfell removed because y'all can't behave."

The Front promises to be a mix of DayZ, The Forest and Battlefield
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/the-front-promises-to-be-a-mix-of-dayz-the-forest-and-battlefield/

Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarok win big at the DICE Awards
https://www.pcgamer.com/dice-award-winners-2022/
The 2022 DICE Awards were handed out last night, and much of it came down to a slugfest between two predictable behemoths, Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarok. In the end, it was basically a draw: God of War won seven awards compared to five for Elden Ring, but Elden Ring came away with the gold for Game of the Year.

The Day Before's calendar app nemesis confirms it owns disputed copyright, would like you to know it's been around for 13 years
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-day-befores-calendar-app-nemesis-confirms-it-owns-disputed-copyright-would-like-you-to-know-its-been-around-for-13-years/
It's been one month since The Day Before got unceremoniously yanked from Steam and its developer, Fntastic, took to Twitter to announce that it had been removed "at the request of a private individual," and promised to "definitely solve everything". A little while later, with everything definitely not solved, Fntastic put out a statement identifying its new arch-enemy, declaring "The so-called 'owner' of the rights to the title is the creator of the calendar app, which has nothing to do with the games category".
Well, two can play at the public statements game, because now the developer of TheDayBefore calendar app has spoken to Eurogamer. TheDayBefore points out that it "first distributed the app under the name 'The Day Before' in 2010"—a fact easily confirmed by checking its Google Play page—and has held the South Korean trademark for the title since 2015. Upon "Knowing that the game of the same name was produced," the calendar app's owners began "taking measures to protect trademark rights," like registering for a US trademark in 2021.

Hogwarts Legacy players have murdered more than 1 billion Dark Wizards
https://www.pcgamer.com/hogwarts-legacy-players-have-murdered-more-than-1-billion-dark-wizards/
In case there was any doubt, Hogwarts Legacy is a huge hit: Publisher Warner Bros Games announced today that the wizarding world adventure sold more than 12 million copies in just two weeks, adding up to $850 million in revenues, 280 million hours played, and more than one billion dead Dark Wizards.

Monday news. part two:

Dark and Darker will hold one more playtest in April
https://www.pcgamer.com/dark-and-darker-will-hold-one-more-playtest-in-april/
The subterranean extraction hack-and-slasher Dark and Darker was a huge hit during the latest Steam Next Fest—in fact, it was one of the biggest things on Steam. I didn't get to spend as much time with it as I wanted (I was distracted by the excellence of Weird West) and so I'm very happy that developer Ironmace will give me, and everyone else, another shot at it in April.

Baldur's Gate 3 increases system requirements 'to better reflect the realities of the launch version'
https://www.pcgamer.com/baldurs-gate-3-increases-system-requirements-to-better-reflect-the-realities-of-the-launch-version/
It's been nearly four years since Larian Studios announced Baldur's Gate 3. That's an awfully long time in PC gaming terms, and it's come an awfully long way since then. So it shouldn't be entirely surprising that your rig is going to be a little beefier than developers originally thought in order to run the game comfortably.

The Street Fighter 6 trailers are getting me hyped to once again pretend I'm finally going to get good at Street Fighter
https://www.pcgamer.com/street-fighter-6-cammy-zangief-lily/
The latest Street Fighter 6 trailer introduces Lily, "a descendant of the Thunderfoot tribe" who loves cameras and birds of prey, according to her profile, and reveals Street Fighter veterans Zangief and my old Street Fighter 4 main, Cammy. The video (embedded above) appeared on Sony's State of Play stream this week and is the last of the reveals for SF6's 18-character launch roster.

Overwatch 2 director confirms what we already knew: the 'meta' isn't all that important
https://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-2-director-confirms-what-we-already-knew-the-meta-isnt-all-that-important/
Overwatch 2 game director Aaron Keller has been doing something pretty neat lately: talking about Overwatch 2. The de facto voice of Blizzard on matters of Overwatch recently made it a goal to communicate with players more often about the current state of the game, and the man is on a roll. So far with his "Director's Take" series, Keller has written about ranked woes, the future of Arcade mode, and the failed experiment that is map pools.

Overwatch confirms Christ Jesus is better at deflecting missiles than ninja-cyborg Genji
https://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-confirms-christ-jesus-is-better-at-deflecting-missiles-than-ninja-cyborg-genji/
An Overwatch player messing around outside the boundaries of the map has discovered that the statue of Jesus Christ on Rio de Janeiro map Paraíso miraculously reflects all projectiles aimed at it with unerring accuracy. This is as opposed to Overwatch's vaunted cyborg-ninja Genji, whose ability to deflect projectiles lasts at most a mere two seconds and must be used by players with perfect timing. The discovery was posted by user OmicronGaming to Reddit.

It looks like EA is already considering Dead Space 2 and 3 remakes
https://www.pcgamer.com/it-looks-like-ea-is-already-considering-dead-space-2-and-3-remakes/
First spotted by VGC, Gloomwood developer Dillon Rogers shared screenshots of a purported EA survey gauging interest in remakes of Dead Space's sequels. The horror aficionado in question naturally checked "extremely interested."

Blood Bowl 3 devs address complaints, hand out free stuff
https://www.pcgamer.com/blood-bowl-3-devs-address-complaints-hand-out-free-stuff/
After multiple delays and an early unlock period that was marred by game-breaking bugs, Blood Bowl 3 launched on February 23. In spite of fixes for the most egregious issues, like the servers straight-up not working, it's currently sitting at a user rating of Mostly Negative on Steam. Only 27% of user reviews are positive.

Dragon Age: Origins deserves remaster with 'extra-realistic slimy nipple textures', says lead writer
https://www.pcgamer.com/dragon-age-origins-deserves-remaster-with-extra-realistic-slimy-nipple-textures-says-lead-writer/
"If we're on a kick re-mastering games from the aughts," David Gaider, lead writer of all three Dragon Age games, mused on Twitter, "what about Dragon Age Origins? Its graphics were behind the curve even at the time of release... can you imagine it with brand new PS5-era bells and whistles?"

Rough PC performance can't keep me from loving Wo Long's Wuxia action
https://www.pcgamer.com/rough-pc-performance-cant-keep-me-from-loving-wo-longs-wuxia-action/
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has been a game half on my radar for awhile, but after giving its demo on Steam a try, this Team Ninja-developed Wuxia action game has my full attention. I'm hooked on its combat like with no Souls pretender before it in no small part due to its fantastic counter.

Get stuck in the ice and struggle to survive in this story-rich management game

The captain's dead and thing's aren't going well on your Arctic expedition in The Pale Beyond, a new hybrid of resource management, survival sim, and visual novel that's the debut title from Bellular Games, a studio based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The game's format is being pretty well-received on Steam, where it has so far met with 92% positive reviews.

It's a platformer about a cute turtle and duck, what more do you want?
https://www.pcgamer.com/its-a-platformer-about-a-cute-turtle-and-duck-what-more-do-you-want/
The demo for a little 90s-inspired platformer hit Steam recently: Windswept, a pixellated platformer about a duck and a turtle going on a very large adventure while trying to get home after a storm. The platformer lets you switch between duck and turtle, or one player can take control of both characters in local co-op mode. Windswept is "coming soon," and will run a Kickstarter soon, which I hope means it's coming this year because I quite like it.

Atomic Heart devs apologise for racist cartoon clip and promise edits
https://www.pcgamer.com/atomic-heart-devs-apologise-for-racist-cartoon-clip-and-promise-edits/
Mundfish, the studio behind Atomic Heart, has apologised for the inclusion of a short, racially-insensitive clip in the cartoons that play in the game's save rooms, and promised to edit out the offending parts in a future update to the game. Last week, we reported that Atomic Heart had drawn criticism online for featuring a 1978 episode of the classic Soviet cartoon Nu, Pogodi! in which a brief, racist depiction of an African tribesman can be seen.
