I think its the way AMD prices stuff outside US. Like europeans always pay a premium, not in part due to taxes etc.. which sucks. But we always seem to get the short end of the stick lol. Hoping to see more deals as we approach the 7000 series launch and the lead up to Christmas. Never mind CES in just over a month. Then we can gauge how good (or bad) the 7900XTX en all and other cards potentially announced/launched in January. |
It's not only AMD that does this "creative conversion" when going from USD to other currencies. Intel, Nvidia, Sony/MSoft/Nintendo with their consoles, etc.
Part of that is the exchange between currencies, of course, but only in part.
