I don't know about else about the new EA app, but after logging in and selecting the cookies (which I shouldn't have to do in an app), it took me about a few seconds to get the whole app stuck. I just navigated back using my mouse, and I got an error view I couldn't really get away from (expect to settings, which was something, I guess). Once I restarted the app, I had to log in again despite selecting 'Remember login', and then I got it working again (and stuck again). Also, browsing my game library is somehow even worse than before due to the atrociously large game art size. At least in Origin, I could make the art smaller. From my point of view, this is buggier and feels worse to use. The bugs I can kind of understand (kind of - they do happen, but I'm not sure how these bugs could happen...), but the new design I cannot.

I never had a good experience with Origin/EA app. Sometimes I can log in and it plays games but other times, it just shits the bed. Luckily EA doesn't have that many games I can about so they are easy to avoid.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

PS: If anyone is considering to try and get 4090 founders edition, Nvidia's store opens at 6AM PST on October 12th. I wouldn't count on it being usable though.

If that's what happens with the App now that it's no longer in Beta, imagine how it was during that Beta.

Not a nice thought... I don't mind a bit of bugs that much since I can usually ignore them (mostly), but that's already two that might be plaguing my usage a lot of the time. It's a good thing I rarely have to use Orig... I mean the EA app.

Hey, don't force it. The same way we still call Ubi's platform UPlay despite being named Ubisoft Connect for a while, we'll keep calling it Origin instead of EA App for the foreseable future.

You forgot a fourth step: to seek help.

And step 2.5: Take a big loan at the bank to be able to afford one. Plus a new PSU and Tower since the old ones were too weak and small to fit that monstrous thing.

Looks like reviews will be going live at 6AM PT tomorrow... Jensen not being very kind to PT people :
