Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

That was an absolute disaster I hope AMD can offer a better price point with good performance feels worse than the scalper prices of the 3000 series cards and that is the MSRP. I was not expecting that at all.

I get the feeling AMD won't be much better. AMD will price their GPUs accordingly to what Nvidia is doing like they did with RDNA 2.

This chart tells the real story that's a bit hidden:

Ignore all the stuff on the right. On the left, RE Village and Asscreed don't have DLSS so most likely, that is what the realistic Raster performance will be. 4080 12GB is slower than 3090 Ti. 4080 16GB is faster than 3090 Ti and 4090 is the big leap.

So this means that Nvidia rebranded the 4070 to 4080 12GB and increased the price to $900. Real 4080 is the 16GB model for $1200 and 4090 is $1600.

The Ray Tracing and DLSS are the big performance benefits while Raster looks to be the usual generational leap. With the new prices though... Yikes

Bahhahaha. This is amazing. Scalper prices are official now. Buy now to play portal everyone.

Sounds like I'll be aiming for a 4090 if I can get one. Is there mention of when preorders open up?
