Sounds par the course for SE. Delay PC ports, charge more, put in less effort, expect success, act like a bratty disappointed child when sales expectations aren't met (They did so with TWEWY already). 

Only way they'll learn is if people stop buying their games en mass and actually tell them to do better. I know feedback is nice and helpful, but this isn't acceptable anymore. I expect indie devs to not get their games just right even on launch week or month or even a year later, but not a AAA studio or publisher.

Least modders are already trying to fix the game with the dynamic resolution disabler mod and Special K mod. It's so annoying how dumb the company is as they could be one of the best companies out there. Instead buying their games on PC feels line a mine field, some are ported pretty well while others are facepalm worthy.

Just finished Halo campaign and not shitting on it because its a good game. But seriously, the story and characters are so cringe. And when they take their storyline so seriously and scenes so drawn out.. its just urgh. I ended up zipping through the end and trying to skip the story parts and exositions because of how unnecessary it was. And then there's the weird fixation and some weird expositions about ai and Chief being corny and emotional is just, lame.

Adding to that so much recycled content and the same thing over and I can't take reviews that call it a masterpiece seriously. Rant over, had fun with it but could have been so much better. Going to just call 1-3 and Reach Cannon and forget 343i's story :P As with the Terminator series after the original 2.

The fun parts are the weapons and alien weaponry. And the grapple hook, which is kinda broken on how OP it is and especially when upgraded. I ended up meleeing most mobs lol.

BUt yeah 7 out of ten for fun gameplay. Story is straight up trash as are the bad protagonist/s. Don't recommend to buy outright and if you have GamePass its worth a play. For a Halo fan you could probably appreciate the story more.

And of course the faces, good lord the uncanny faces. This isn't the Original Xbox days anymore. There have been plenty of games even in the ps3/360 era that had better facial animation than Halo Infinite.

But yea, overall, someone else should take over Halo. This may be 343's best showing but even that isn't very good for a flagship game in 2021.

Its a shame because I was open about the game and was looking forward to it after reading and watching some rave reviews. But honestly the story and characters was such a major let down it kinda dragged down the whole experience. Like I would rank it well below Reach and that story almost bored me to sleep. Whats worse is the poor explanation of what was going on and what lead to those events especially for people who haven't been keeping up with the story.

And true some of the faces and animations are straight up poorly done and whats worse is that they zoom in so close as if it didn't stand out already - not for the right reasons. IIrc even Halo 4 had better animations and cut-scenes.

Idk it just feels like 343i still don't know what made the older games and characters so memorable so they focus on everything but what made and they've been working on the games for 13 years! The fun gameplay, the tight level and multi level maps and memorable fights. Like Bungie intentionally made MC a blank slate, a super solider to fight against aliens. Trying to characterize him to give him more character and emotions just falls flat. They should've just focused on the combat and maps instead of the story and just kept it simple.

Also whats the deal with MC VA change? I digress, think its time to bury the hatchet again for the franchise again. At least until MS gives the reins to someone who can do the franchise justice. Actually.. I think I'm done, the fight was already finished at H3.
