First thing they should do if they are really that invested in taking care of the kids is to add more safety measures to their microtranstactions, but we know how this things go.

One thing Alan Wake 2 will benefit the most, if Remedy uses a similar gameplay, is from ray tracing. That coiuld be something worth being experienced!

Yeah, they're not going to do anything about it. EA makes too much money off MTX lootboxes, even though it is essentially gambling. Its all talk.

As for AW, yeah going though the first game and though it looks good, it could've benefited a lot from raytracing. Hopefully the second one has some form of GI. Would be amazing if it opened the doors to more game mechanics. Like maybe use reflection/refraction on reflective surfaces or something like that for puzzles/and or on enemies. But yeah, won't be for some time though can't help but feel hype for more Remedy.

Indeed. For a game where light and darkness are so important, global illumination and ray tracing could bring a lot to it.

Now I hope they do it and add a disco ball somewhere XD.

Guys, I think I've found the most boring game ever made. And yes, it's a "real" game (and also a joke). I present you:

Only nine colors to choose... I'll pass!

I hope they add other colors as DLCs.

Intel Core i9-12900K Flagship Alder Lake CPU Benchmarks Leak Out Again, Fastest Single-Threaded Chip & Right On Par With AMD Ryzen 9 5950X In Multi-Threaded Tests

Now while 108C may seem terrifying, there is no Alder Lake S supported CPU bracket yet so they couldn't properly mount the CPU cooler. Still waiting to see dem gaming benches though...

AMD Officially Publishes Source Code for GPUFORT To Deter Competitor NVIDIA And Their CUDA Application

Certainly will help people trying to get out of the Nvidia ecosystem but at the same time, I suspect AMD needs to have a better track record for their GPU before most people jump ship in production environments.

The most hated brands in every country

https://www.ravereviews.org/brands/the-most-hated-brands-in-every-country/

"We compiled a list of some of the biggest global gaming, fast food, tech brands and ISPs within the UK and US. Using Twitter’s API, we pulled tweets mentioning these brands.

We then used language analysis tool SentiStrength to determine the sentiment of tweets (considering tweets with a negative component from -5 to -2 as negative). Aggregating the data by country and US states, we calculated the % of negative tweets and ranked the brands to reveal the most hated in each region. For all countries, we omitted brands without at least 10 unique users tweeting about them."

There's also non gaming in the article as well. Pretty interesting.

PCIe 5.0 High-Power Connector For Next-Gen Graphics Cards To Deliver Up To 600W To GPUs

Then you have the Strix/Kingpin versions probably going up to 800+ Watts... Then you combine it with Alder Lake S...

Remember when 750 Watt was overkill?

It kind of looks like someone glued together a PCIe connector with a molex one.

I don't really know what to think of it, to be honest. Yes, it's preferable to use one of this rather than two or three PCIe connectors, but it's also disappointing that we're back again in a path to consum more and more power.
