Yep, Age of Empires logic. You can put 10 knights, elephants or cataputls, but 11 archers? Nope!

Really puts things into perspective when you put them side by side. Intel pushed 14nm to it's brink until finally, we will be able to move onto 10nm with Alderlake S. Although early rumours suggest that 10nm won't be all that power efficient either. But we will see how it goes!

During this Steam Summer Sale, I was at the brink of buying Ace Combat 7 (it reached a 75% discount, the max most Bandai Namco titles get), but just when I was going to buy it I checked the discussions and found that it still has Denuvo. I don't know why it's there as some newer games from the publisher have already rewmoved it, but not for that game. And so, I did not buy it.

I'll get it when they remove that crap, or I'll get Project Wingman first and forget about AC 7.

That sucks, hopefully they'll patch it out. Usually publishers remove it after a couple years but its nonsense. Not only do we get some optimized and lazy ports on PC, but also this crap to deal with. We've seen performance hits on Denuvo DRM'd games like DMC and performance got way better once removed. Shame it hurts people who buy the game while people who don't get a better experience. Its totally backwards and wished more people voted with their wallets.

Looks like Capcom learnt nothing from RE7 and DMC 5 so I guess I won't be buying those games on PC; until its removed and for sub £5 in a Steam sale.

Still waiting for Denuvo to get removed from Planet Zoo, but I'm not holding my breath since not even Planet Coaster has had Denuvo removed from it... I rarely buy games at prices higher than 10€, but I might be willing to pay for Planet Zoo if Denuvo is removed from it. At this rate, I guess I'll just wait for much lower prices, which is not exactly fun.

The good news for me is that most hentai games don't have DRM although they do have localization restriction. So for most hentai games, even if they are translated to English, detects that the Windows region is set to a western country instead of say Japan.. They will give you an error that looks like the data got corrupted or something. But luckily, you can just use the god tier locale emulator and boom, it will work!

Luckily games on steam has no such issue and they are easy to patch with the uncensored versions if they are censored.

I was also expecting a bit more polish with Planet coaster's optimisations (ppl still pointed out that over some years, and they still didn't come back to that), but since they didn't bother with that, I'm also just waiting for Zoo to go down drastically in price (even this yrs summer sale wasn't low enough for me to bite). That being said, I do hope they remove that god awful DRM as well.

As much as I have patience, waiting is definitely not a fun game, so I'm with ye in that regard.
