The 6700 (should it be a thing) should still outperform the lower SKU's due the bigger bus in itself. 50% higher bus bandwidth is quite significant and should offer better overall performance, especially at resolution's over 1080P. I'd imagine the 6600 series will have lowered infinity cache amount too.

If we go by NVIDIA equivalents, it should go; 6700 > 3060Ti, 6600XT > 3060 and 6600 > 3050Ti.

Perform better? Yes. But perform better enough to be a better buy than the allegedly cheaper 6600XT? I'm not so sure.

Steam’s “price parity rule” isn’t wreaking havoc on game prices

https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2021/05/why-lower-platform-fees-dont-lead-to-lower-prices-on-the-epic-games-store/

I was wondering when someone was gonna make an article about this. Basically shows what we have known before where even when a game isn't on steam and Epic games asks for a lower % cut, the savings doesn't get past onto the customers but rather, the publisher simply charges the same while making more money. There are some exceptions but majority just take the money and laugh their way to the bank.

People still believed Timmy like they believed Reagan back in the day, and nothing really became anything of Reaganomics, and naturally nothing of this either.

I always knew these cuts and deals meant the publishers would benefit way more, while the customers hardly benefitted at all, but somehow, fans of EGS will tout it's better somehow than GoG/Steam...

I can't believe normies don't see this racket shit going on.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

Yea pretty much. It was all marketing from the start and even Epic Games said the 12% isn't sustainable.

The only ones that believed in all these nonsense didn't like steam in the first place imo.

True the 6600 series is probably going to offer better value and would be a good upgrade for people who still own a GTX 1060. Will have to wait for benchmarks and see how AMD prices them. Looking to be a great mainstream 1080P card, if you can get ahold of one that is.. xP

Wonderscape's Hokko Life, PC's answer to Animal Crossing, is entering Early Access next month.
The game had a moment in the spotlight right before Animal Crossing New Horizons' release last year, despite only having a trailer and the promise of an Early Access release sometime within the next year. It's got all the makings of Nintendo's own cosy social sim—a quaint town, your own home to decorate, and quirky animal residents for you to run errands for.

EA’s dodgeball shooter Knockout City will be free for 10 days at launch
https://www.pcgamer.com/eas-dodgeball-shooter-knockout-city-will-be-free-for-10-days-at-launch/
Knockout City is a 3v3 multiplayer shooter, except instead of shooting guns you’re lobbing balls at your enemies. It sounds pretty fun—Tyler has some more detailed impressions here—but launching a new multiplayer-focused title in 2021 feels like a roll of the dice in terms of whether anyone will care (remember Rocket Arena?). As a means to make people care, Knockout City will be free-to-play for the first 10 days when it launches on May 21.

Stay out of Apex Legends 'ghost rocks' or be banned, warns Respawn
https://www.pcgamer.com/stay-out-of-apex-legends-ghost-rocks-or-be-banned-warns-respawn/
Respawn is taking a hardline stance against Apex Legends players exploiting a Season 9 bug that lets you clip inside a rock and block all incoming damage. The 'ghost rock' in question can be found on the Phase Runner map, one of four launch maps in Apex Legends' new Arenas mode. A fix to the rock clipping bug was supposed to come in yesterday's patch that nerfed the new Bocek bow and Spitfire, but Respawn said in a followup tweet that it was delayed for "quality-control reasons."
