I want 3060 leaks

Or RX 6600 / 6700

Ask, and you shall recieve:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3050 Ti rumored to feature GA106 GPU
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-and-rtx-3050-ti-rumored-to-feature-ga106-gpu
The Twitter user that brought us numerous confirmed leaks in the past has now provided an update on GA106-based models. According to his information, both RTX 3060 and RTX 3050 Ti will feature a new Ampere GPU, a GPU that has not yet been officially confirmed by NVIDIA.

It is said that RTX 3060 would feature 3840 CUDA cores, while RTX 3050 Ti would stick to 3584 CUDA cores. The GA106 GPU is expected to feature a 192-bit memory controller, which suggests 6GB or even 12GB GDDR6 memory.

This would be the first time NVIDIA brings RTX technology to its x050 series. This would suggest that there will be no GTX series with missing RT cores this time around.

According to our information, the RTX 3060 is to be expected beginning January 2021, while RTX 3050 Ti might arrive between January and February. NVIDIA also plans RTX 3050 non-Ti but its specifications are not yet confirmed.

The new Yakuza runs a bit like crap. At 1440p it can't even hit stable 60fps on my 1080. Turned it down to 1080p and still can't get it to run smoothly at 120fps. I may need to buy a GPU RIGHT NOW or else I'm not gonna be able to enjoy it. I compromised now on locked 1440p60. Can't play unlocked without g-sync. Feels very sad to play like that.

Yakuza 0 does not look really worse but runs smoothly at 1440p120 Ultra.

Time to settle for something other than the Strix as those are unicorns

Exactly what I'm planning on :P

AMD not making their version of DLSS proprietary concerns me a lil, because you'd think they would absolutely try making sure it's a thing across the board, like Nvidia is doing with whatever devs they can contact.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Even if the rumors were true about a 3080Ti in January, I'm still waiting until spring/summer most likely. Waiting for new Intel CPU's and a tad better pricing on storage (a few more monitors to choose from wouldn't hurt either).

I don't see why not making it propietary is a problem and, since we've just learned its name, I would say that it's way too soon to be either excited or worried about it.

By then you may be able to grab one of the Ampere cards made at TSMC, with probably better power consumption and thermals, maybe even higher clocks.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 expected to feature 2304 CUDA cores
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3050-expected-to-feature-2304-cuda-cores
Kopite7kimi brings another set of rumors about the GeForce RTX 30 series.

The RTX 3050 is expected to feature GA107-300 GPU with 2304 CUDA cores. Such a number of cores would be a significant upgrade over GeForce RTX 1650 (896 CUDAs) and GTX 1650 SUPER (1280 CUDAs). However, it is important to note that NVIDIA doubled the number of cores per Streaming Multiprocessors, not necessarily doubling the performance in the process.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti to launch in January 2021
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-ti-to-launch-in-january-2021
According to the new report from HKEPC, NVIDIA will launch its new high-end GPU in January. The next SKU in the GeForce RTX 30 pipeline is the RTX 3080 Ti, according to the article. This particular model had, in fact, just appeared in the rumor last week when kopite7kimi provided the initial specs of the graphics card. Most of these specs have been confirmed by HKEPC.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will be equipped with GA102-250-KD-A1 GPU. The website reports on the 10496 CUDA core count (we were unable to confirm this part of the leak yet). The graphics card would also feature 20GB of GDDR6X memory (the memory speed is currently unknown) across a 320-bit interface. The TGP of the RTX 3080 Ti is estimated at 320W, which is the same value as for RTX 3080 non-Ti. The site reports that 3080 Ti will lack the NVLINK connector. The board number of the RTX 3080 Ti is PG133 SKU 15 (RTX 3080 uses the same board design).

We have been able to partially confirm this rumor just today. Such SKU does exist on the most recent roadmap. However, please do note the roadmaps do change when manufacturers adjust their plans to better target competitor’s offers. We have already seen such an adjustment with RTX 3080 20GB graphics card, which was eventually scrapped.

At the rate things are going, some of the ones waiting to buy a 3080 may be able to get a 3080Ti instead.

Considering you have to basically divide the number of cuda cores in half with Ampere compared to Turing, the 3050 seems kinda weak compared to the 1650 SUPER. Alo, 90W TGP for that is disappointing since the base 1650 had only 75W and thus didn't need any power connectors and could be fed entirely through the PCI-E slot. I predict only a ~5% performance increase over the 1650 Super with that data.

As for the 3080Ti... this may become one of the biggest burns and buyer remorse ever for most 3090 buyers if they release that card at around half the (street-)price of the 3090...

I said I needed an upgrade.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Why in the holy tits of 2d waifus does Yakuza LaD not have cloud saves on Steam. The rest of the series does. WTF Sega?

@vivster Well you did say you wanted a GPU upgrade now, and in this year. Just sayin' :P
