I don't get the negativity towards AMD using a 256-bit bus. Paired with 14Gbps memory like the 3070 would give almost 450 GB/s, and if AMD managed to get a hold on 16Gbps chips now that Nvidia has moved on to GDDR6X, then it would have almost 500 GB/s.
Sure, it's nowhere near the numbes of the 3080/3090, but those are insane numbers. This is not too bad.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
What cooler?

So the one in the pic that Yuri posted.
I hadn't noticed until now that you mention it (too bright to see it well), but maybe its because the radiator is in the front, touching the front of card, and they put it this way to get the tubbing out of the way and in a way that thy arten't too bended.

For the life of me I always wanted to make or build a computer but its seems so complicated lol. My son calls me a gamer geezer lol. Coolers and radiators PCs are so different now.

In my opinion, building a PC only has three big difficulties:
And All in One liquid coolers are just one option, traditional tower CPU coolers and, in a lot of cases, perform as well if not better.
By the way, welcome to the site and this thread .

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine gets another shot at life as an Epic Store freebie
https://www.pcgamer.com/where-the-water-tastes-like-wine-gets-another-shot-at-life-as-an-epic-store-freebie/
Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is one of the best-known videogame bombs of recent years. Despite pre-release hype and the presence of tantric sex guy Sting, its launch was "a disaster," according to lead developer Johnnemann Nordhagen, who said that it sold fewer copies than he had Twitter followers—"and I don't have a lot of Twitter followers."
Reviews were spotty too, although it has a "very positive" user rating on Steam—and also, according to Steam Charts, peak concurrent player counts that are almost exclusively in the low double digits, so you can see the problem. Starting today, though, it may have a second shot at life (or at least a chance to become one of those "overlooked cult classics"), as it's now free for the week on the Epic Games Store.
>> The other free game is "Railway Empire". Next week, the free game will be "Stick It To The Man! ".
The Humble Store's End of Summer Sale has moved into its Encore stage before it finishes the next Monday. You should check it out to see if they've added something new.

Friday news, part two:
Ubisoft CEO apologizes to 'everyone who was hurt' by workplace abuses
https://www.pcgamer.com/ubisoft-ceo-apologizes-for-workplace-abuses-promises-it-wont-happen-again/
Ahead of today's Ubisoft Forward online event, the company posted a video in which CEO Yves Guillemot apologized for "internal issues" at the company in which "certain Ubisoft employees did not uphold" the company's values, and promised that Ubisoft would improve in the future.
Ubisoft is finally bringing Scott Pilgrim vs. the World back from license limbo
https://www.pcgamer.com/ubisoft-is-finally-bringing-back-scott-pilgrim-vs-the-world-from-license-limbo/
For years, fans of the 2010 beat 'em up Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game have been lobbying Ubisoft to bring it back. It was delisted from digital stores back in 2014, after a teased online multiplayer patch never materialized. But as proof that good things can happen in 2020, Ubisoft's finally re-releasing the game at the end of this year, remastered and bundled with its old DLC.
Watch Dogs: Legion is bringing back the series' original lead character
https://www.pcgamer.com/watch-dogs-legion-is-bringing-back-the-series-original-lead-character/
The Watch Dogs: Legion video that played during today's Ubisoft Forward event didn't really show us anything we haven't seen previously. After the trailer, though, we did get a surprise: Aiden Pearce, the lead character of the original Watch Dogs, will be added to Legion in a post-launch update.
>> And Stormzy will have his own mission.
Acclaimed PlayStation adventure The Unfinished Swan finally comes to PC
https://www.pcgamer.com/acclaimed-playstation-adventure-the-unfinished-swan-finally-comes-to-pc/
The Unfinished Swan is a critically-acclaimed first-person adventure developed by Giant Sparrow and released as a PlayStation 3 exclusive in 2012. The closest it ever came to PC was as a touching reference in Giant Sparrow's next game, the wonderful, haunting What Remains of Edith Finch, although yes, it was also playable through the PS Now service. But now it's here for real: With no fanfare, or advance notice of any sort that I'm aware of, publisher Annapurna Interactive dropped the game on Steam and the Epic Games Store today.
Call of Duty take note: Warframe is reducing its install size by up to 15GB
https://www.pcgamer.com/call-of-duty-take-note-warframe-is-reducing-its-install-size-by-up-to-15gb/
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare now eats up more than 200GB of hard drive space, an absolutely massive chunk of digital real estate for a single game. Shortly after ballooning to that ridiculous size, we sent forth a plaintive plea: Make game smaller, please. Surprisingly, one studio heard our calls, and replied, "Yeah, we can do that."
Hotshot Racing is a colorful '90s arcade racer out now on Steam
https://www.pcgamer.com/hotshot-racing-is-a-colourful-90s-arcade-racer-out-now-on-steam/
If you love racing, and consider yourself a hotshot, the newly released Hotshot Racing is probably already on your radar: it's a gorgeous retro-styled arcade racer in the vein of Horizon Chase Turbo, though Hotshot Racing seems to borrow more from Virtua Racing when it comes to the art style.
>> I can't for the love of me, understand why would someone link a competing game in the first paragraph when making an article about another game, so here is the https://store.steampowered.com/app/609920/Hotshot_Racing/Steam link for Hotshot Racing.

Surprise, Disgaea 4's PC version is out now
https://www.pcgamer.com/surprise-disgaea-4s-pc-version-is-out-now/
In July it was announced that Disgaea 4 would be next in the series of tactical JRPGs with over-the-top characters to receive a PC port, with a vague release date of "fall". Today, it appeared out of the blue on both Steam and Game Pass. Which is nice.
Destiny 2 is bringing back ritual and adept weapons for Beyond Light
https://www.pcgamer.com/destiny-2-is-bringing-back-ritual-weapons-for-beyond-light/
Bungie continues to drip feed Beyond Light information through its weekly This Week at Bungie blog posts, and this week the focus is on Destiny 2's core activities and associated loot. In the post, Bungie announced the return of pursuit weapons—special, curated guns that are earned through a (usually lengthy) quest that involves playing through either Strikes, Crucible or Gambit.
