Thanks for the replies guys. I have 23 inch monitor and even that felt big to me. So, i got new desk and chair last year. Mostly play Blizzard games, so can't speak much for immersion games as they are pvp and immersion happens from being salty in game, hah.

Oh well i'll look for some sale on black friday/boxing day or just wait it out. I'd need to upgrade gpu too if i get new monitor. Just more free time this past month got me thinking. Things in life should get busy starting next month and then less time for gaming.

I also have troubles with big monitors and, when I upgraded from my 23" one to the 25" I'm using now, I thought I would have troubles getting used to the new size, but I can say that the transition was very smooth and didn't had any problems at all.

Please excuse my bad English.

Personally, yea it looks better but it doesn't look amazing. Gonna still skip.

Reminds me more of the brighter and more cheerful colours of FarCry.

This seems like good monitor, kinda expensive but good. The curve is just too much. Also what you guys think of 32 inch screen size with 1440. It becomes same kind of ppi as 1080p with 23 inch screen. Also will be super big for my table and eyes.

https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/27--odyssey-g7-gaming-monitor-lc27g75tqsnxza/

There is this Dell with less curve. Worse HDR, not even sure if that should be a considerion in monitors at this point in time.

LG Ips that is recommended a lot too. 27GL850.

I actually like the 32" size, if anything I would be happy to step it up to 40" 2160P, but couldn't find any that were 120hz or better.

32"@1440P isn't garbage by any stretch and 1440P demands less from your hardware than 2160P.

I do find over the decades as I went from 15" > 17" > 19" > 21" > 24" > 27" > 32" I never thought it was to big, I did get that "holy shit that is allot larger". - But you do find you get used to the screen real estate.

Let's go with the Monday news:

SALES /PLAYER COUNT & DEALS

Get PC Building Simulator, Elite: Dangerous, and more in the new Humble Bundle
https://www.pcgamer.com/get-pc-building-simulator-elite-dangerous-and-more-in-the-new-humble-bundle/
One of the interesting things about the "simulation" genre is the amount of ground it covers. Microsoft Flight Simulator is a sim, Surgeon Simulator 2 is a sim, PC Building Simulator is a sim, The Sims is a sim, Andy Kelly's Big-Riggin' Holiday Road Trip Extravaganza is a sim, the list goes on and on.
The new Humble Super Simulation Bundle is a good example of that breadth. For $1, you get Treasure Hunter Simulator and 911 Operator, games that don't appear to have a whole lot in common beyond that "sim" descriptor. Beat the average price and you'll also get the French Revolutionary tale We. The Revolution, the deep space exploration game Elite: Dangerous, the "ultimate hunting experience" theHunter: Call of the Wild, and Radio Commander, a Vietnam War strategy game in which you command your troops solely over the radio.
>> The bundle will last until September 17.

Doom Eternal Horde Mode Mod releases on September 13th
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/doom-eternal-horde-mode-mod-releases-on-september-13th/
Modder ‘proteh’ has been working on a Horde Mode for Doom Eternal. According to the modder, the gameplay will consist of a series of waves. Naturally, each wave will be more difficult than the previous one.
Players will start the first round with almost no equipment, just their shotgun and their jump boots. Eventually, and by clearing wave after wave, they will become a fully loaded Slayer. Moreover, the final wave will test your skills like no other arena in the game has done before.
Doom Eternal Horde Mode Mod will release on September 13th. Below you can find its key features, as well as two gameplay videos for it.

Here is an impressive Doom mod for Super Mario 64 PC
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/here-is-an-impressive-doom-mod-for-super-mario-64-pc/
As we reported back in May 2020, there is currently an unofficial DX12 version of Super Mario 64 for the PC. And, as you may have guessed, modders have decided to mod the sh*t out of this game. These past months, we’ve seen some interesting ones but, in my opinion, nothing can come close to this Doom mod for it.
This Doom mod for Super Mario 64 PC replaces all items and textures with those from id Software’s classic shooter. Moreover, it adds the iconic Doom Hud (instead of the Doomguy it features Mario) and introduces a 3D Doomguy costume for Mario.
It’s also worth noting that p3st has added the entire E1M1 from the first Doom game in Super Mario 64. Players can now fight some Super Mario 64 enemies and explore this level via a third-person perspective. This is a truly amazing mod that most Doom fans must experience, plain and simple.
>> You can download the mod from here (MEGA) . Where to find the game is up to you.

Fallout New Vegas gets a 16GB Upscaled 4X HD Texture Pack
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/fallout-new-vegas-gets-a-16gb-upscaled-4x-hd-texture-pack/
Modder ‘Kuzja80’ has released a 16GB AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for Fallout New Vegas. This pack will increase/upscale the quality of almost all of the game’s original textures by four times. Furthermore, it does not contain any custom or new textures, something that most Fallout New Vegas fans will appreciate.
Similarly to the Oblivion AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack, this pack for Fallout New Vegas corrects upscaled alpha channels and upscaled normal maps. Moreover, this pack features seamless textures (after segmentation). The modder has implemented a full seamless texture segmentation technique to bypass any VRAM limitations.
In order to enhance the original textures, Kuzja80 used cuda, pytorch and his custom neural net model. Additionally, this pack does not contain textures that were below < 64×64. The modder also skipped textures from the “interface” folder.
>> Available from Nexus Mods.

Core Decay, revealed in February as a "retro shooter immersive sim about a cyborg on a dying Earth," made an appearance at today's Realms Deep show with a new trailer showcasing a "first-person action-adventure" inspired by the immersive sims of the 1990s (and, I hope, 2000—you know why).

Wasteland 3 patch buffs swearing parrot and cyborg chickens, addresses critical bugs
https://www.pcgamer.com/wasteland-3-patch-buffs-swearing-parrot-and-cyborg-chickens-addresses-critical-bugs/
I managed to finish Wasteland 3 without encountering any noteworthy bugs—a single hang on a loading screen, and one name of a location I entered refusing to fade until I left—but it sounds like I was one of the lucky ones, with a variety of issues plaguing some players. Though inXile released a quick hotfix shortly after launch, the 1.1.0 patch is now live and addresses more of the issues.

One difference: Everyone in Diabotical is an egg-shaped robot. No headshots here, only shellshots.

Amid Evil is getting a 'full prequel expansion' called The Black Labyrinth
https://www.pcgamer.com/amid-evil-is-getting-a-full-prequel-expansion-called-the-black-labyrinth/
The Heretic-style retro fantasy FPS Amid Evil is very, very good: We called it "a badass monster mash" in last year's 86% review, while Wes also chose it as his "personal pick" for 2019, calling it "one of the best shooters of the year." Soon we will be getting more, in the form of a new prequel chapter called Amid Evil: The Black Labyrinth.

Everspace 2 finally has a release date
https://www.pcgamer.com/everspace-2-finally-has-a-release-date/
A new trailer for space shooter Everspace 2 is out, announcing a date for its Early Access release: December 2020. The first Everspace was a space-combat roguelike, but the sequel is a full-on open world (open space?) looter shooter that developers Rockfish Games called "the kind of space game we've always wanted to make, but never had the money for." The release of Everspace 2 was scheduled for this month, but was delayed earlier this year due to complications surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. There's currently a free demo on Steam, if you're so inclined.

Classic '90s FPS Rise of the Triad is getting a remaster next year
https://www.pcgamer.com/classic-90s-fps-rise-of-the-triad-is-getting-a-remaster-next-year/
Rise of the Triad was a fast and gib-soaked first-person shooter released in 1995, back when we used to call them Doom clones. It had some nice features: the sheer amount of weapons was impressive (three cheers for the firebomb), there were trampolines and power-ups, and you could be a dog. The sheer scale and graphic violence of the game managed to hide the fact that it was running on an amped up version of the Wolfenstein 3D engine.
I have fond memories of it, so much so that I powered through the just-decent 2013 remake. The good news is that the 1995 version is getting a spit-and-polish next year, and in addition to marking the game's debut on consoles (Xbox One, PS4 and Switch), the remaster is also coming to PC.

Crusader Kings 3 is now available in Australia, but not on Steam just yet
https://www.pcgamer.com/crusader-kings-3-is-now-available-in-australia-but-not-on-steam-just-yet/
Last week Crusader Kings 3 was mysterious cordoned off to Australian purchasers, with both the game's publisher Paradox Interactive and the Australian Classification Board seeming a bit confused about the situation. We still don't know why it was initially refused classification and hence unavailable for purchase, but the good news is that it's now been rated MA15+ and has been given the go ahead to release.
