be quiet! 1200W and 1500W digital Dark Power Pro 12 PSU Series (Update on NVIDIA 12-pin header)

Update: Be quiet! submitted an additional response towards the Nvidia 12-pin cable for the Ampere high0end GPUs:

"We are anticipating the launch of Nvidia's next generation of graphics cards, and although Nvidia announced they include an adapter for their graphics cards that require a new 12-pin power connector, we offer our customers an additional solution to use their be quiet! power supply with the latest Nvidia graphics cards.

This solution will come in the form of a full 12-pin cable, to avoid any additional resistance that may be induced by an adapter, that will work with all our modular high-wattage power supply units."

Between Seasonic and now Be Quiet! I am starting to think Nvidia made a deal with power supply companies

It seems awfully convenient how PSU manufacturers already have this supposedly "brand new" connector ready to produce and that they advertise it for their highest wattage, read highest priced, SKUs.

^And it also gives us a hint of what kind of power supply will the new GPUs need, in terms of wattage.

Just great -.-
The moment I switch to LG OLEDs because Samsung stopped making good TVs Samsung decides they're going to make good TVs again. This really sucks, because I really don't want to wait another year to get a new TV.

We've known about that since April, when Samsung announced that they would stop manufacturing conventional LCDs.

But back then they said 2022, not 2021.

The article from TFT Central says that they'll enter production in 2021 and they're likely to reach the market in 2022. Your article says "the new panels could start showing up in TVs as early as 2021", key word being could.

Nothing has changed, it's only that one site knows more about this stuff than the other.

Those Reagan economics really paying off after nearly 2 years now, eh?.

That's trickle down economics. You know, your money reserve trickles down, and all goes into the pockets of the rich...

That scene showing Arthas ripping out Uther's soul was pretty epic, but I love how they re-did the scene for when we had slain Arthas, and what he could actually see (since we didn't see any angels descending from the Maw to grab him).

Not a big fan of the whole "angels desire vengeance" viewpoint though. It's going to be just like the genocidal Naru all over again, which I think makes for terrible one sided writing.

hold up playa, not vengeance, justice!

whelp holy shit if true

In theory, that will make for cheaper OLED manufacturing – with a less complex OLED base and fewer layers in the stack, reducing material costs and manufacturing difficulty. According to analysis by Display Supply Chain, this could lower manufacturing costs dramatically, from the $94.91 per square meter of traditional OLED down to $26.03 for the OLED components of QD-OLED.

I'm just gonna buy the LG one and then hope I get burn-in so I can justify getting a new one from Samsung 2 years later.
