Yep. Good move from them. Looks like the french do care a lot about Notre Dame, and that just by private donations they had already collected more than 700 millions.
But well, I know AC Unity happens in France and has the cathedral in the game, thus making sense to give this game all things considered, but it's one of the worst AC games and the source of all those weird face bugs.
I wonder if they fixed that...
Please excuse my bad English.

Well, the main complaints were the performance problems on consoles and entry level PCs, not the rare face bugs.
And performance shouldn't be an issue on the most popular gaming GPU (GTX 1060) or above.

Apparently it's still buggy.
Also if you are signed up with Nvidia's news there is a contest to win a gaming pc.

Thanks for the contest!
As for the game being buggy, it's a shame they didn't completely fixed it. But at least it's free.

Epic says new account security features are coming this year
https://www.pcgamer.com/epic-says-new-account-security-features-are-coming-this-year/
One of the most common subject of complaints about the Epic Games Store is account security, raging from reasonable concerns over hacked Fortnite accounts to conspiracy theory nonsense about Tim Sweeney conducting espionage on behalf of the Chinese government. Perhaps to assuage some of those fears, Epic has posted a new Account Security bulletin "on the present and future of security features and practices we use to protect your account," that also contains a few tips on how to keep your account secure.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice mod significantly improves mouse camera control mechanics
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/sekiro-shadows-die-twice-mod-significantly-improves-mouse-camera-control-mechanics/
Earlier this month, we informed you about a new version of the “Sekiro Fps Unlock And More” mod for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that implemented an – unofficial – Easy Mode. And today, I’m happy to report that its latest version has significantly improved the game’s mouse control mechanics.
As the modder noted, the latest version of the “Sekiro Fps Unlock And More” mod disables the annoying camera auto rotate adjustment on movement, as well as centering of camera (cam reset) on lock-on if there is no target.
The result is a better camera behaviour for those using a mouse instead of a gamepad. So yeah, even if you are not interested in the newly introduced Easy mode, we strongly suggest downloading this mod.

It was hoped that PC testing would begin this month, though at the time, Halo community director Brian Jarrard was keen to stress that this could change.
By the way, tomorrow is festive so there won't be news. And over here Monday is also holiday, so there won't be more news until Tuesday, unless someone else wants to do them.
In any case, have a happy and gaming long weekend.

Yeah, I even liked 3 and the Vita game. The best of AC3 was the Evil-Washington-DLC.
