Hello everyone,

Because I have a lot of doubts about certain quote about star wars(complete saga+ Expanded universe) I would rather start a thread covering all of them so if you guys have some you can also ask them on this thread. 

First of, why did Yoda tell Luke " Only a fully trained Jedi Knight with the Force as his ally will conquer Vader and his Emperor." However, there were many Jedi who were killed by Vader on the ROTS, and they were most likely very well trained if how come only one single jedi beat both of them? Do think it is because Jedi knights were supposed to be stronger in the mind of Lucas before he created the Prequel trilogy? 

Pretty much everything Yoda said in Empire was contradicted in the prequels at some point, not the least of which is the entire concept of the Force.

Or how about this one... in the original film when Obi Wan is telling Luke about his father Anakin, he says a couple of memorable quotes about him being "the best star pilot in the galaxy", and that he was "a good friend."  But in the prequels, Anakin isn't really either of those.... his entire piloting experience during all three prequel films consists of trying a spin move, because "that's a good trick!", and going back to help out ONE clone trooper, after millions have already bit the dust and it's been established that they are completely disposable and that nobody really gives a damn about them.

As for the "good friend"... in Episode 1, Anakin is just a kid and Obi Wan can't stand him, even going so far as to say he's "dangerous".  In Episode 2, all Anakin does is argue with Obi Wan and complain behind his back at every turn.  And then we all know what happens in Episode 3, but not before Anakin whines even more about Obi Wan holding him back.

Some friendship.

What about the plot holes in episode II which just seemed like a side story from all of star wars? What was the point of the clone army or the other stuff?

Making people watch the film. Huge-ass clone armies make for a very good trailer :P
