Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One And Xbox 360 Games Win Big At E3

The games look fantastic and I think some are really, really jealous. LOL

Why play second rate games when you can play the best on a Sony platform? Why settle for  an 87/100 game like Tomb Raider, when you can have a 96/100 game like Uncharted?

Plus what alternative is there for God of War? The Last of Us? LittleBigPlanet? Last I checked, there were only a handful of games which scored as well as The Last of Us, and not a single one of them was a 360 exclusive (3 were Wii exclusive though).

This is a silly arguement against owning a Playstation, especially now since the PS4 is $100 cheaper then the One. "Uh....I'll pay $100 more, for less games...exclusives don't matter."

You check ratings, I don't. Uncharted to me is a boring movie wannabe. Weak sauce puzzles and doesn't have the best shooting mechanics. The story is excellent but what makes you enjoy the game ultimately is the mechanics. With the inumerous hordes of enemy in the game I place it with Gears as TPS and you damn well know which one has a better shooting mechanic.

I'll gladly pay $100 dollars to the console that has games that pleases me more, how silly is that compared to your implication that the only option is PS?

Alternatives for God of War/ LBP and TLOU? None. Not my type of games. I play 3D platformers, TPS, FPS, Action-Shooter-RPG, Sports games and and other sims like Racing and Flying. Not into drama.

If you don't like Uncharted, that's fine, but that's personal preference. It has nothing to do with the quality of the game, and like I said.

Why settle for a good Tomb Raider when you can have an excellent Uncharted?

You just what what do exclusives matter? If you don't care for exclusives, then a PS4 and a One should please you just the same. Spending $100 more is basically wasting money if you don't care for exclusives.

We're not stupid, gamers know all about gaming PR and "no comment" means somethings up. 1"No" means they are not making the game multiplat. This will most likely end up being just like all the other timed exclusives MS pulled at the beginning of the generation that eventually came to the PS3. We're growing more intelligent as consumers, and 2MS figured that out first hand.

1- So did they say yes? And where in the article.

In almost every interview the refused to comment on a PS4 version of the game, which means somethings up. A direct no would suffice. Look it up on interviews.

2- I thought Sony figured that out with a $600 console first.

Of course they learned, which is why they let Cerny take over. Cerny is one of the most consumer centric developers in the industry, hes always thinking about what the consumer wants and how they develop as gamers, which is he explains in his methodology behind Knacks development.

And where did you read timed exclusive? Share your knowledge.

Have some common sense. How many times did Microsofts launch timed exclusives stay exclusive? As I said we're more intelligent than they give us credit for, we've watched PR and if theres no definitive answer something is coming.

Oh man this guy is precious. So one sided and over analyzes every statement someone makes like an english teacher trying to pull meanings out of something that was never there in the first place.

Respwan said titanfall coming to other platforms isn't out of the question. There you a go an answer, a direct answer. You may not like it but so sad its an answer and a very clear one. The ps4 version may or may not come. No one is saying it wont come but till it does stop acting like it is.

I'm not even going to bother with your second statment it speaks for itself.

You use some common sense most of those times we knew from the very beginning they were timed exclusive.  Consumers are getting smarter? No they are acutally not. Take a marketing course and you will realize how ignorant and easy to manipulate consumers can be.

I'm happy to see that Project Spark is being well received. Maybe it'll even live up to it's potential.

They've given many answers to many different people. Some people refuse to comment, some people say it isnt out of the question. Yes or no is definitive, that is all.

Well, good for you, but in general an Arcade game should not be given the same weight as a retail game. I loved Shadow Complex, but I would never pay $60 for it.

Every now and then there will be an arcade game, or a niche retail game, which is really loved by a small group. I mean, I still play Mario Party 2, but would I tell people that N64 is better then PS1 just because a game I specifically like is on it? No.

It's called being unbiased when comparing games, arcade games just aren't to the same level as a AAA retail game.

And at the same time there are tons of retail games not worth $60. What games deserve what weight is personal opinion and in a discussion like this, that opinion is pretty irrelevant because all it does it highlight the agenda a person has. You're trying to say MS abandoned the 360 years ago, I bring up my GOTY so far being a title MS funded and bought the IP for and made sure its fanbase got it and you disqualify it with a "LULZ ITZ ARCADE TITL".

I don't really care what you tell people regarding the N64, the discussion was not about what is the best console. I am not saying one console is better than the other, or that one is supported better than the other. I replied to your tangent about MS abandoning their console and thought I would correct you, that's all. Whatever qualifiers and asteriks you want to add, it doesn't change the games I can play thanks to MS.

What a hilarious end to the reply, where you actually say you're being unbiased by selectively choosing which games are relevant or not.. based on your own personal bias. Thank you for that, LOL. Not going to bother replying to you more on this, toodles.

That's why when I mentioned games which Microsoft has published, I didn't include shovelware. I only listed quality games like Gears of War, and Halo.

I know everyone has personal opinion, that's why you need to make arguements with the general concensus. Microsoft releasing one low budget Arcade game is not enough to say that Microsoft didn't adandon the console. It's a low budget game, and you just can't give it as much weight as a high volume, well reviewed, $60 retail game. Just like I omited Nike+ Kinect on my list, I would omit this too.

I'm not sellecting games based on my personal bias, I'm selecting games on their review scores and public acceptance. Had I made a list of all the worthwhile exclusives on any console, there would be a few games which I would omit simply because the review scores were low and the game sold poorly, even if I loved it personally.

You saying MS didn't adandon the 360 because of a single low budget arcade game is like saying that microsoft added a cup of gas to the 360 car during the last couple years of the road trip. This is in comparision to Sony adding tank after tank, and even filling the car up after it's finished its trip with games like GT6 and Beyond.
