I've got a table ready showing market research firm, Gartner's prediction for this and next year's growth of Windows devices, and it doesn't look bad at all.  If anybody wants to see it, just let me know.

basically, the esteemed firm Gartner is saying that Windows devices will grow about 11% from 2013 to 2014, which isnt bad at all.  If they can do this on a permanent basis, they should in fact win in the end, bc these things are marathon races, not sprints.

it really isn't news of any kind... it is barely even growth...

So, its like the baseball team took a bunt and got to first base, not a home run.  Still, 11% growth cant be laughed at, sir.

Wait. So this is ALL windows devices? I was thinking just windows phones for some reason.

Also, you point out the 11% growth of Windows while ignoring the 22% for Android and 20% for Apple.

Which goes directly opposite of your statement and actually shows that they are going to continue to lose marketshare every year. I guess its good they are projecting an increase where they actually had a decrease last year.
