I do, come in here.
My father bought a Lumia 920...you need to download apps for so many trivial things, judging by his reaction WP8 is not awesome at all.

Ok lets develop your statement and feelings on this further, what wasn't as good as expected about the 920? Just let it all out man.

Would you like to talk about how awesome MSFT is doing? Lets keep the discussion tied down to that, not people's motivations for things.
It is, in fact, so awesome, that WP 7.8 can't have a decent skype app while my Droid 2.1 phone has a fully-functional one - working in background, with good sound, and all. Because of that, I can't talk freely with my girlfriend, who has a Lumia 800.
It wouldn't be so awesome had skype not been a Microsoft product.
Tagging. You caught my interest, as I expected an other OP, so I want to see what will come out of this. And other than that, I'll remain silent as I don't have anything positive to say about Windows Mobile (HTC HD Mini experience).
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!

Windows Phone 8. He really likes the hardware (especially the camera), but the OS is terrible .
Just an example, to change the tone of incoming text messages you need to install an external app first. To change your ringtone you have to convert the music file first AND it has to be shorter than 30 seconds.
Apparently it is horribly complicated to change some settings (he comes from Symbian 3.0, another terrible OS - WP8 is even worse in his opinion) etc.
ok, fair enough. I can understand it when some people are upset and rather flummoxed that a company known for creating the most popular desktop OS makes a lemon of a mobile product, but MSFT has to do what they have to do.
Anybody else?

ok well, I'm not going to restrict this to just uber-positive reviews. What do you have to say, man? Out with it.
