Why do you often make sarcastic Sony threads?

I've got the first one, technically the second since there was a "LiveView" watch or something like that. Paired with my Sony Xperia S smartphone, so I bet my Sony gods are happy with me.
Thanks for the info, didn't know that they are releasing a new one. I'm very pleased with my current one, but if this will be clearly better I'll gonna get it for the right price.

Sony comes up with some neat ideas, but few seem to actually take off. Its a watch, and IMO it would only appeal to a sub-niche of customers.

I'm somewhat waiting for apple to do there wizardry and make it wildly popular xD I heard that they were making a smart watch. Though maybe this is too niche to become mainstream right away, not sure.

I remember somewhere reading that there will be 1.3 million smartwatches shipped this year.. so the market is getting ready.. could easily boom in a year or two.. MS and Apple are rumored to working on one and Samsung will release the Galaxy Altius

While this watch is one of many at this point, this is a market Apple completely blew... The initial shuffle with a touch screen was my first smartwatch, without Apple even selling it to me as a smartwatch thanks to 3rd party accessories.

They just had to add bluetooth to it, and make it connect to iPhone for sms/calendar/notifications and they would have ruled that market.

I'm not really sure how I feel about smart watches in general. They seem like a cool concept, but just not sure. Kind of like google glasses.

At least we won't have to worry that SmartWatches are killing handheld gaming..
