i am using a DS3 cause i don't have a wheel (really sad thing if you consider i have lots of hours on GT5 and more than 900 unique cars on my garage) and i did manage to get gold on the first practice, will do the rest today and tomorrow, add me on PSN to do some competition going on here in VGCz... my psn id is the same as my name here... see ya in the tracks...

Got a 2:24:172 ranked low 1100's in the uk and 11116 worldwide with pad (no longer have a table for my wheel) all aids of bar ABS 1. Can shave a second at least (been .6 up just on the first sector before, granted I ballsed it up) of that but it was frustrating me so I had to stop. I have no idea how the leading time is 2:17 flat or something, that's crazy. The stuff with the GTR is solid, can only get silver and bronze on both after about 10 minutes on each. :(

So downloaded the demo yesterday and have played about 1 hour.

Here are my impressions

The shadow are much better than in GT5
Overall graphics have improved ( the normal GT Player will not relaise it asthe improvments are very Little so late in the gen)
Fast loading times, if the load times will be the same in the final game than i will enjoy GT6 even more
Good menu ( cant say if the final product will have such good menus too)
physics are amazing ( hey ist Gran Turismo )

I really cant wait for Gran Turismo 6 to arrive this year.

Loving the game so far. The definitive sim racer for sure. Can't wait for the full game. But i'm having fun beating most people on my friends list. I'm coming for you extreme M

the handling is simply amazing and the grafix are just awesome, im a tad worried that frame rate isnt smooth when using in-car view anyone one got any info on this?

The demo was pretty good, but the handling is something i should get used to. I have been spoilt by arcadey racers. I'll buy it if it doesn't have a large install, i have very little hard drive space left on my ps3.

Tried to do the GT academy events but kept touching the grass, which makes your time void :(

I need to learn to not drive so fast so i can make the turns easily

Just managed to shave a tenth of or so to get a 2:24.05 and then was .7 up two sectors in on the next lap but completely ballsed up Stowe and Club corners causing my to cry and rage quit. Feel I can do 2:22 flats tomorrow when I give it a proper go (2 hour sessions with my wheel) Won't get anywhere near the top dudes tho who're in low 2:17's! :o

I tried the demo yesterday, loved it. I did the Silverstone circuit for half an hour or so until I got the gold at 24.616
There are plenty of corners I can do a lot better, doing them all correctly in the same run is the hard part. The handling feels great, beautiful lighting on the track too.

Btw does anyone know how to turn the ghost off? I instinctively keep trying to avoid myself, only when I had somehow accidentally turned it off I managed to get the gold.

I'll do the individual parts tonight to unlock the GTR. GT6 is going to be great.
