This was reported around E3 but we now have reaffirmation. This is purely 1st party titles! We also have confirmation that new titles will be announced at Gamescon.

"I’m sure you heard from [SCE Worldwide Studios boss] Shu [Yoshida] that he has—just his studios—he has 30 games in development. 20 of them are going to ship within the first year of the console’s life, and of those, 12 are new IP.

A couple things to consider:
1) This does not mean PS4 exclusive, they could appear on psvita or ps3 aswell.
2) Year one may include this holiday.

I'm almost more excited for the establish IPs, reason being they are more likely to be huge AAA titles as sony doesn't tend to make sequels for their smaller indie titles. I do love Indie titles though.

they said that they were working on 12 new IPs and 30 new games, 20+ new games in its first year and an undisclosed amount of new IPs

Naughty Dog alternative team game (maybe Uncharted4, maybe new IP)
Santa Monica game (maybe GOW4, maybe new IP)
Media Molucule game (maybe LBP4, maybe new IP)
Sony Bend Studio game (i guess new IP)
Quantic Dream game (i'd say new IP)
Team Ico (The Last Guardian PS4 ?)
Guerrilla Cambridge (new IP)

+ we can expect a MLB game


That's what i can think of at the moment. No need to worry about exclusive games on PS4. Just look at how PS3 managed to get the best library of exclusive games.

I'm not sure if those 2 bolded will have their games ready by next year. Otherwise this may be the best launch year yet.

I wouldn't mind a NW resistance game, the campaign and coop modes were great mp was so so
Media molecule is working on a new ip for ps4

Froget about the Last of us, unless it just a port, wich sounds like a waste of time.

The sequal wont be ready for another 2 to 3 years. GoW4 isnt gonna happen aswell until another 2 years. Quantic dream is still finishing beyond two souls, so its a no-go for another 2 years.

Old IP's that are missing from the list:

2. God of War
3. Ratchet and Clank
4. LBP

These four exclusive franchises will definitely return on the Ps4!!!
