 In the comparison picture posted on the first page, the biggest similarity is the hair style, but the facial features on Ellie are mostly different.  She ever so slightly similar but that's it. 

I'll also point out that every comparison people make of her they use the few pictures that are around that have her with the same hairstyle.  Clearly, because her facial features aren pretty dissimilar.

Yeah, she definitely looks like it and she commented on it very nicely.
No biggie... it was not appreciated. That's all.

Maybe, just maybe this is all to create a publicity stunt later on to garner some attention on Beyond.

I get Ellen Page's gripe. She's making her own game and having to compete with her likeness isn't a situation she should be in considering she didn't give ND permission to use it.

I've just started playing TLOU (pretty awesome so far) and I think ND did a good job distancing Ellie from Page by redoing the visuals on her. But to those who don't think it was originally ND's intent to use her likeness, just look at the before and after pictures of Ellie on google and you'll see she was clearly (initially) modeled after Ellen Page.

Now that Ellie's been changed, I don't think Page can stick to the notion that ND "ripped" off her image, because they did change it. However, like one actress who looks like another, even if they aren't twins or each other's doppleganger, they can still look similar enough to cause confusion to the consumer. Just look at Jeffrey Dean Morgan/Javier Bardem/Robert Downey Jr. I can see Ellen Page getting a little frustrated over that even though Ellie's been changed enough to not be considered the actress's spitting image.

You don't see Nathan Fillon getting all hot and bothered about Nathan Drake.

Try not to defend Naughty Dog too blindly guys. They initially had every intention of making her look like Ellen Page. I remember when the first trailer of The Last Of Us hit, the internet buzz was high with posts that pointed out the awesome similarity and resemblance Ellie had with Ellen Page (I mean even the name is inspired by Ellen Page). Naughty Dog even had to change Ellie's look slightly when it was announced that Ellen Page was actually playing a character in a different game.

Even after the adjustment, Ellie still looks like Page. And Ellen has every right to be annoyed with Naughty Dog and Ellie's character. Especially since she has her own video game character now.

And honestly, I personally think it can potentially confuse uninformed consumers when Beyond nears release and the trailer commercial start hitting the t.v. People are going to be like, "wait, isn't this The Last Of Us?" or "wasn't she in The Last Of Us?".

Like I said, if she wasn't starring in her own game in the same time frame, she shouldn't be mad. But it makes a world of difference when Naughty Dog is bumping dicks with her work. Ellen Page has every right to be upset when her work is potentially compromised.

If they have an actual actress that looks like Ellie that isnt Ellen page, then Ellen should shut up.  I dont know though. Just basing this on what you're saying.

Wow. I didn't even think of this. ND is a repeat offender. Anyone who tries to defend ND is just delusional. Again their names are the same..Nathan Fillion /Nathan Drake  & Ellie/ Ellen Page. 

SONY fanboys are annoying and blind. The fucking name is similar. Ellen has never complained until she was asked in this very interview. She could've complained before but she didn't because she is a good person. And even when she did complain, she did it politely. What is wrong with you guys?
