Hey I have Finnished the last of us (best game) and I'm now thinking of plating it! 

What is new game +? Could someone explain the trophies for how this works as there are 8 for the completing the story and in a little confused

It's just the same game, but you keep all Joel upgrades, items etc. aside from the weapons which are put back. It's the only way to max out Joel for the trophy (you need to get to Bills Town a second time, even if collecting all the supplements).

As for the trophies...I haven't finished the game yet so I can't help you sadly...

If it's anything like Yakuza 4, new game+ is starting a new game except you items and experience (if that's in the last of us) carry over from the last game.

In Arkham city and Mark of the Ninja, New game plus was that you had to replay the same game but it becomes harder,

if you want to plat it you have to play survivor now and then survivor+ that will give you all the playthrough trophies

Do the enemies or combat somehow change? In Arkham City, in NG+ (as well as in Dark/Demon Souls), the enemies are noticably harder in order to balance out your saved experience and upgrade. So is this the case with TLOU? I dont know if I should sart on hard+ or begin from scratch on survivor.

Yes, you can. Survivor mode unlocks after you beat the game once on any difficulty.

Nope, you have to beat the game on hard to unlock survivor.

lol. then I'm lucky I started on hard :P 

i guess those 3playthroughs just became 4 :p

I made a mistake, I thought it was like Uncharted where you have to beat the game on hard to unlock crushing

Just checked, Survivor mode is unlocked for me, even though I beat the game on normal.
