Forums - Microsoft - The Gorgeous Quantum Break Thread

we've got a case of PSonysit on our hands... they never learn that Sony tricks them every year with stuff that are coming half a decade from now.... well I have to admit this year they kept it more realistic but it showed.... so much that MS took the crown on that front even with the biggest PR fiasco in history... but watch out PSonysit get people delusional and disoriented... they speak non sense on others thread...

anyway back on QB.... thinking of it a "Quantum Break" could be a great "Remedy" for "PSonysit"

Any gameplay of this anywhere?

Nope... So far, all that we know is that it will be filled with a lot of cut scenes... -__-

Im playing through a game like that at the moment. Its got gameplay to but alot of it is walking around then more cutscene.

You're playing Gears of War? =P

No I bought Uncharted 3 5 days ago. And the first 10 chapters have been alot of cutscenes alot of walking and very little else. Even the fire escape bit felt purely scripted like I had nothing to do with it.

Yet a variety of cut scenes has you figuratively wetting your pants for the sake of variety?   Quantum Break is impossible to know what it is, or isn't at this point.  It looks intriguing but certainly a 'wait and see' approach.   It's like the Order 1886 for PS4.   We have no idea what to expect.

They already told us what to expect. Max Payne style gameplay, with Alan Wake style story telling.

You play the game, as you progress through it you unlock tailored "directors cut" episodes of the show, which you are free to watch right then and there or at any time later when you feel like it. They are completely separate from whatever cut scenes the game will have (which I'm sure will be a relatively average amount).

We also know that there are different characters, with different time bending/altering abilities, and that you can actually decide what kind of targets the antagonist pursues, which is pretty cool imo.

Just because you're apparently not informed on what IS known about the game, doesn't mean you can just presume that all anybody else knows is "there are cut scenes"
