Definitely a reason for all gamers to rejoice that Microsoft came to their senses but I also second guess some things. Could this patch that undoes everything from day 1 be reinstated at a later date? Have they truly seen the error of their ways? Also why should be all forget what they orginally wanted to do in the first place and say o well who cares. We need to stand are ground and say no more bullcrap from them. I do not know why people are all of a sudden forgetting everything and saying buy buy buy.

Here is what we should all do in my option. First not preorder or buy the system a minimum of one year from its release date. That way we can all tell them that we will not forget what they did and will not stand for it even if they take back what they did. microsoft knows that it is a shitty thing to impliment. They knew not to many people will buy it regardless. So why support a company that would even consider doing something like this.

Okay... So they are now listening to the internet... And you still see something wrong with it... Interresting...

I had no idea what this was at first and was trying to cross my eyes to see if a hidden picture showed.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

We've already had this thinly veiled thread ... and Euphoria posted all that needed saying.

if you want to stay last gen one more year it's up to you my friend.... but I doubt REAL gamers like they like to call themselves will be that patient unless it is an economical issue....
this is business... it changes all the time and will change again in time.... if you want to marginalize yourself do it but I doubt the mainstream will do it over a virtual grudge... this is too hardcore.... I have grudges against apple, sony, google, and other brand for different reasons, mostly their policies or their marketing BS or both and never ever buy or use their products and services if I can help it..... but it is not the case of most consumer in any sector.... what happened yesterday is an exception and probably the combination of many factors not just the internet crowd....
but go for it at least you will probably save money with maybe a price cut....

And I thought MS fan were bad.

They won't reinstate it.

All companies learned something these last couple of months. This has to be a gradual shift to full digital in order for this to work for the consumer.

Which is something that hasn't even fully taken effect in music and movies yet. (two items far simpler to download and utilize digitally)

They will all push digital sales via various incentives and I still think next gen we'll see them go all digital. But I have an existing thread on that.
