If the graphics aren't different between PS4 and Xbox One it's for political reasons and not technical ones. It should be trivial to take advantage of extra shaders of the same architecture.

Tell that to PS4 version running at E3 into PS4 DevKit... they already made the new engine.

i feel like the way he answered the question he meant gen to gen but who knows. the question clearly asks xbone/ps4 so maybe. i don't think we can take anything definitive from that statement.
..but i'm sure digital foundry will give us plenty of stats to war about at release.
