Busting my chops for talking about handhelds. Just compare the sales of 3DS in America to the iPod or iPad. You should get a good laugh from it. Every kid I see these days has an iPod touch.

 
Way to miss the point. Even if Ninty stops making WIi U right now, they will still profit and sell a bunch of 3ds. Theyve been selling more 3ds than 360s all year. Im getting a good laugh from you thnking America equals the world. I dont see any kids with Ipod touch, now the phone? yep

$500 multimedia box is disruptive?

Ever heard of Google TV? Apple TV? Roku? If people want a multimedia box that's what they'll buy. The way to win a generation is to win over the core gamer. From there its a ripple effect and everything starts jumping on the platform. So far the PS4 is looking to be that platform.

People are looking to buy these next-gen consoles for the games and better graphics, everything else is just a bonus.

This thread and oni-link's response are so...annoying, for lack of a better word. Not only are you not elaborating on your own words, you are just recopying what that one guy said like 5 times already.

You are also not even tackling the question from a neutral perspective. You're just hoping somebody will come along and explain, in vivid detail, why the XBone is so much better than Sony's PS4 and Nintendo's Wii U.

How about this? close this thread, develop a well thought out and informative explanation about MS's strategy this gen around and try this thread again.

This i still struggle to see what MS is offering that other machines havent been offering in terms of there multimedia features for years. And not its not MS "great" services. Very few people give a crap about Bing, or anything besides Windows for that matter.

It seems you created this thread for comments and then dismiss any actual feedback when its not what you want to hear.

well it's difficult to say.... conceptually Sony and Nintendo are already out.... living in a dying era of gaming and living room entertainment..

I've heard this from a few people today, it seems this is the new "flag in the ground" to say XboxOne is going to kick butt.... you know "Sony is out of touch"...The funny thing is that is that the XboxOne isn't doing anything revolutionary (in fact you could say its a step backwards because TV has already changed). The one thing that it had in it's favour - i.e Gaming, they have already diluted to fit in with their TV vision, that actually doesnt exist outside of the USA.

What i want to know, is what does the XboxOne do that is revolutionary that the PS3/Wii-u/Xbox360 cannot already do, and what the PS4 will not be able to do?
