Just had the craziest idea pop into my head. Noticed this while I was playing Animal Crossing with the "language" of the animals being electronic sounds and all, similar to Fi and Midna.
What if Nintendo just made a Hylian language for Zelda and it would be voiced in that language with text still translating it? I mean I may have not liked the characters but the mystical "voices" they had really had a sense of immersion to them. If they did have to add voice acting to their future games, this would make the localization a lot easier (No need to match lips, just text subtitles)
Feel free to rip this apart. It's just a random idea that I had.
It'd kinda be like watching anime subbed. I don't know what they're saying, but there are subtitles and the "tone?" of the VAs are far better than having to listen to a lip matched weird dub. Just instead of Japanese, we get it in "Hylian". Too hard to do?
