So if you want to play a MP game with these 10 friends... you will need 10 copies of the game.

There are the GOOD and the BAD part.

How is that a bad part? It's normal...

If I buy a digital game on PSN, it can be played MP at the same time on different accounts as long as the account that bought the game is present in the device.

So yeah, it is bad that you require 10 copies of the same game.

I love Angry Joe, he was on the ATTACK! Major Nelson looked ANGRY, BUT Major Nelson is a STAND UP GUY! Especially for continuing the interview and allowing it to go through! I'd gladly take Major Nelson over Don Mattrick.

It's just that simple.

No, it isn't. Devs get the money, people play the game. It's normal.

Nelson was very defensive in this interview, I still like him though. He's a way better PR person than Don Mattrick.

I respect Mattrick more for saying "No internet, well we have Xbox 360 for you." Than Larry saying "Family share, family share" in answer to almost everything, as if that makes all the other stuff OK.

MS is putting Mattrick in an aweful position having to try to make "stick with last gen" sound like it's a good thing. But I don't see how Major Nelson could make that look any less like a sow's ear of a solution to no interwebs.

Question is, did he change Angry Joe's mind? If he couldn't bring Angry Joe around then you can't say he did a good PR job.

Major Nelson said it will check with engineers about a ideia started on GAF to implement a offline play option (withou share, cloud, internet, etc) to resolve the Xbone problem.

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=591726

Seems a cools ideia and can make happy everyone.

so simple and so obvious.   it would eliminate all the BS parts of their system without eliminating any of their features.   why didn't MS think about this prior to the reveal?

I suppose you refer to:

Just an idea here. Why not allow there to be a Xbox Live option to allow "offline" mode, but it disables any family sharing? Like

"If Xbox One hasn't connected in 24 hrs: [] Disable game & Allow Sharing [] Enable Game & Disallow Sharing"

Problems:
- You can load up on games, disconnect xbox one, trade in / give away all those games and keep a fully loaded xbox one.
- What do you do when your xbox one breaks down and now all your games are locked to that bricked xbox one?
- You still can't install a new game off-line (no solution for the troops)
- Maybe there are other things the xbox one exchanges every 24h. (mandatory firmware updates to for example combat potential piracy)

Much more likable guy than Mattrick. Too bad he has to backtrack around everything so things don't get even wrose.

The shared game thing seem like a pretty good feature, why isn't MS shouting this to the moon?? It would be a huge way to combat the negative perception of sharing limitation, especially if the ability extend to friends as they implied.

My guess is, they only came up with the idea after the first wave of complaints, that's why the idea seemed a little under cooked and poorly explained.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

LOL at Nelson's handler making them move on to the next question (7:25).

So it's just like lending without having to physically lend the copy. Good, but not as good as some expected.

They have to put something like a $5 fee on this, or it's going to hurt sales more than used sales ever did.
