You'd better learn your facts. MGS has been anywhere, from Playstation to Nintendo and Microsoft. And Final Fantasy was from Nintendo too, my friend.

Which actually shows, if you look, for example, at self-shadowing on characters, it looks very current gen.


Quite a feat to achieve that in last gen consoles, if you ask me.

So far in the pool is 70% for PS4, 20% for PS3 and 10% for Xbox360 and One, which I think is inacuratte, it will probably sell way more in the current gen hardware. My predictions:
PS3: 4 million
PS4: 1 million
Xbox 360: 2 million
Xbox One: 1 million
Total: 8 million.

Umm yeah I wasn't even born during those games. Titiles like FF and MGS have always been played on Playstation since the PS1, all the fans and sales come from that platform, so it's only natural people would want to play it on that.

And they still can play it on Playstation hardware, it's just that they can also play on MS.  Also, MGS 2 & 3 eventually came out on the original Xbox and MGS was remade for the Gamecube, so the only really exclusive Sony Metal Gear was 4.  I do agee that it should always atleast come out on a Sony system, though.

If it is like many of the ps2/ps3 hybrid games, the older platforms will barely be able to run it and all the trailers will be from the new consoles. I really think people need to be careful with what devs are doing as they could get screwed over badly.

Yes I know that, MGS was on xbox. The point is that the loyality lies on playstation, just compare those sales my friend. Most people started playing these titles on Playstation first, plain and simple.

Yes and that's my whole point. Well aware they've been on older systems back in the day, but going back to the 80's and 90's is way too far lol.

"Loyalty" is a shapeless term. Final Fantasy grew up on Nintendo systems and sold millions of units per entry. And it would have continued to sell if Square, or Enix, or Square Enix would have kept the support. So I don't really get your point.

Shouldn't really have to explain much when the majority fans first played FF and MGS on playstion and contiuned that trend for many years. There sales aren't opposed by another console. It feels weird to play those games on xbox, I tried. Also I just like too play any multiplat game that's single player related on playstation for that matter.
