People of all ages who don't pretend to be more badass than they are.

Master Chief said it best, "just do the mission."

Yeah, it's catered to the fans and family, most importantly "fun". And yes, so are their games.

freaking everyone man

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

First off Zelda: OoT and MM helped my son learn to read. Yes it was difficult for him at times, but he'd have friends over and eventually they'd figure it all out. Which is a part of the game play that's sadly lacking in today's world.

Nintendo games are always focused on family fun. Sometimes they gear a little younger (Epic Yarn) or a little older (Twilight Princess) or more female (Wii Fit) but in all cases anyone can play any game (but not every game appeals to everyone). Which is why parents always feel comfortable buying Nintendo systems/games but also why a lot of gamers don't like Nintendo, because they want to be catered to specifically to their age, likes, skillsets.

Underlined: One of the few,but very important reasons why hope Nintendo would never do voice-acting, it's aducational minus (minor to be exact) stuffing it in your throat

Bold: Hence the dissapointments in Nintendo's E3... And I feel that's the reason why I see the word "pretendo's" being coined as of late. :/

By the way, I agree, but many people do not agree with us. So are we the majority or the minority here?

That's biggest question, in any way you might look at it, we could be the ones caught in the middle... O.o'

Others said it too but I find this very well put. Kudos.

People who like to play games.

Oh, you mean age demographic? Probably kids and teenagers for the most part, since they consume the highest amount of entertainment.

They aim for the inner child in all of us. Their games always make me feel so happy whenever I'm down.

Usually the only demo that doesn't like their games are the 12-24 year old "It must have blood, swearing, etc" before I can enjoy it crowd. The ones that haven't matured and rely on others opinions for their self worth so they cannot be seen enjoying Nintendo as its not the cool thing to do.
